Disliked: Unser ZImmer lag direkt neben dem Gemeinschaftsraum/ Rezeption, gegenüber der Küche und daher sehr laut.

Liked: The staff was really friendly and helpful. The 8-be dorm where I stayed was rather small and crowded, but it was clean and it had its own bathroom. The hostel is in peaceful and nice neighborhood, it's close to the metro station, so it is easy to get anywhere in the city. It has a nice garden where you can rest and meet other people. All in all, I was very satisfied and I would stay there again.

Liked: We loved the roof top terrace and the private terrace from our bedroom. The outside had a chill garden as well.

Disliked: I extended my initial stay by a few more days, however they made a mistake and over booked resulting in me having to be kicked out and refunded

Liked: Garden House was an amazing place to stay. It is in a local area of Barcelona far from the city and it actually feels like you are really part of the neighbourhood rather than just a tourist. Most of the local people don't speak English which makes it even more authentic! The house is beautifully peaceful and cool - you sleep so well and are woken only by the parrots outside in the trees not by traffic or others coming back from partying. The metro is not far away and it is so simple to get around that it makes no difference how far away you are from the centre.

Disliked: It is so peaceful and lovely that you sometimes forget to go back into the city and see all the sights

Liked: It's a little bit outside but with the metro you are in "La Rambla" in a few Minutes! And there is a very nice atmosphere!!! Only one word: GREAT!

Liked: Great place to hang out, very comfortable. On my first night of arrival, as soon as I walked in, people were already inviting me out for the night. It was amazing

Disliked: Bedroom I stayed in was a little cramped, couldn't even move my suitcase throughout the room.

Liked: A very nice place indeed. The waters hot, the rooms are clean, and everyone involved is very cool (Including Tim!). The only slight downer is the location, which, convenient as the metro is, is still a fair distance away from the center and involves a long journey.Nonetheless, I had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Liked: Very relaxed atmosphere and room for fun and to "get your feets up" after a long day in Barcelona city. Very service minded staff and always with a big smile. When I arrived I immediately felt welcome. It is a good feature that you can choose fermale dorm when traveling alone. All in all a very good stay

Disliked: The dorm was a bit crowded, but you got plenty of common ground, which is where you what to spend your time.

Liked: I loved this hostel. It has been one of the best experiences I have ever had while staying at hostels. I felt like being part of a big family. Staff is just AMAZING, they always make the best of themselves: good tips about the city, helpful, super nice. Besides the hostel is really clean and it is the best if you want to relax after a touring day!!! I really recommend it!!

Liked: This place is really nice. If you, unlike some backpackers, love a quiet location for a good night sleep, then you'll love this. It is far from the hectic, noise and pollution of the central area but close enough to metro (like the tube service in London) so you can easily travel by tube + walking.The staff are friendly and the counter opens 24/7, should you have any questions to ask about Barcelona and places to visit.The facilities are very clean and beautiful. Though you have to pay 2.50 euro for breakfast, it's worth it: you can eat as much as you want from cereal to bread to juice and coffee. Plus, you can cook in the kitchen and use the provided utensils.Yes the rooms are a bit crowded (I stayed in a 8-people dorm), but it's comfortable. Enough for a good night sleep after a long, tiring (but fun all the same) journey around the heart of the city.I definitely recommend this. A good place for a comfortable stay and a nice place to meet new friends!

Liked: This hostel is incredible. If you're debating about spending the extra few euro, do it. I can't stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff was--I felt like, by the time I left, they were my friends. The terrace is awesome and peaceful. Barcelona itself is incredible. I met some really cool people here in general. It's definitely the type of hostel where you can meet people and feel comfortable just hanging out. Also, I had a balcony outside of my room and I loved it at night. Stay here. Seriously.

Liked: Was a little out of the way, but still easy to find off of a metro stop. They'll do your laundry for you (for 8 euro) and my only complaint was how cramped the rooms were. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Liked: Good social atmosphere -- one large table where people meet to chat, eat and drink. Good outdoor meeting areas also. Staff enthusiastic and very helpful. Location fine for getting into town daytime, but not at night, but at least that means the dorms do not suffer constant disturbance. Kitchen OK.

Liked: This is the most relaxing hostel I have ever stayed at. Each room had its own balconey along with the roof top lounge area, and nice chill garden. Along with this the staff was super friendly, the had amazing dinners with local cusine where the cook described the meal and how it was prepared. They also had "tapas" local snacks and wine available all evening long at very cheap rates, and free wifi. Everyone at the hostel also seemed to be very chill and loved hanging out.

Liked: Really enjoyed the Paella and Sangria night, loved the decor, appreciated the location as the surroundings were peaceful and non-touristic, and the local patisseries sold scrumptious items for breakfast. I met some nice people at the hostel and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. However I was quite cold at night and my bed was a bit too near the lobby for total peace and quiet.
