Liked: Albareda was a great hostel overall. The issue with the city of Barcelona is that there are Gipsies everywhere and they will rob you blind. They will wait for you on the subway stairs, right when you get out and have a microphone to have other gypsies come out after you. Luckily, this hostel is close to a metro, and has a huge metal door. No matter what Barcelona is not safe at night, but staying at a hostel that is pretty close to everything was great.

Liked: No soundproffing on the rooms or doors so you can hear people entering the hostel at all hours and the phone at reception ringing when you are in your room and the door is closed.

Liked: fantastic hostel! stay here!! friendly family run, met so many fun people, close to most things although a half hour walk from beach but that doesnt matter. good kitchen, great rooms and bathrooms. reccommended!

Liked: This place was amazing! As i lone traveller i felt safe the whole time. I was constantly meeting new people and having a good time here. The atmoshphere is great, the breakfast is great and the staff are awesome! Always there to help and one of the girls gave us directions to the BEST tapas resturant in town. Thanks for having me :)

Liked: Great staff, great hostel. Easily the best hostel Ive stayed at. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Will definatly stay there again. Thanks Albareda Youth Hostal

Liked: I had a very good time in Albareda.....The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hostel is very close to La Ramblas. Higly recomended if you want a clean, safe and homely hostel. I will come back for sure!
