Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful if sometimes a little confused. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the crowd that showed up was clean and fun.

Disliked: Only one washing machine and the wifi signal for laptops was pretty weak i the rooms. Only place it was good was the reception area. The showers were also cold during the morning rush,

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Wi-fi internet was good.

Disliked: Was disgusting. Kitchen was filthy. There was 1 washing machine & 1 dryer (which was also being used by the cleaner to clean bed sheets). Communal showers were tiny, my boyfriend couldn't even fit!.. and depending which one you got, the water was either VERY hot or VERY cold. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm, which was the size of a 4 bed dorm (had an extra bunk bed squeezed in that half blocked the entrance) there was no room to put your baggage when all 6 beds were occupied!

Liked: It is in a good place of Barcelona which is actually a city that is easy to move around. The workers there are very polite and supportive. Specially the guys who work in the reception

Disliked: The toilets and showers were not cleaned everyday

Liked: close to metro

Disliked: The guy in the reception was stressed and confused and sometimes you had to wait for 15-30 min before he would even show up in reception - so the 24 hr reception didn't excist. many beds in small rooms. Located on top of a hill - isn't descibed any where - not fun with a big backpack.

Liked: they have all things that a traveller needs, computer, breakfast and other staff.

Disliked: rooms not big enough to put our luggage.

Liked: In fact it is not a hostel,but the student house. the cleanliness depends on the people living there. Thats why I gave so poor note. I recomad this hostel la Ciudad, for young people who love hard student live :-)

Disliked: nothing except the cleanliness. "privat" does not mean that you will get your own bathroom, but only the toilet.

Liked: free internet,very nice and free breakfast. everything was organised from the time i arrived it took no more than 2 minutes to give me the key.

Disliked: it was the dirtiest hostel i have ever been to,especially the bathrooms

Liked: spacious rooms, staff really helpful & friendly, free PC with internet (very slow, but its free!) 2 common areas, showers are mixed (not a problem for us but maybe for some people), would stay here again

Disliked: the location isn't amazing, you'll need to walk for a while / get the metro if you're after a bite to eat or a quiet drink, or even just a shop to buy a snack. although the metro is only 5 mins walk away.

Liked: Generous breakfast. Friendly staff.

Disliked: The showers were super-tiny with no hot water, no hangers. There was only one toilet (2 others were out of order) and you couldn't even lock it. Sheets have bedbugs.

Liked: There were multiple common rooms where you could meet different guests. There was a bathroom in our bedroom, which was also very helpful. Plenty of showers and toilets for everyone, plus free luggage room.

Disliked: It was a bit of a hike from the closest metro station. Especially when you're carrying your luggage, it's difficult to take a 10 minute walk uphill. Also, lack of air conditioning was a bit of a downside when you're staying in the middle of August.

Liked: anyway it is clean and quiet , and not far away from the metro station(about 8mins walk)

Disliked: The room is not new and the bed is not good ,and the TV set has something wrong ,often shut off automaticlly...
