Rui BarbosaIt's a great place to meet knew people, with incredibly fun, nice and helpful guests and staff. Situated near the heart of Barcelona, you can go to whatever place in just a few minutes, walking or by metro. Having free WiFi is definitely a bonus! It has some comum places which can be used freely, and they have vending machines with low prices. Bad aspects: the cleanliness and status of the building (needs taking care), the showers conditions (you just simply can't get hot water easily), not having towels and sheets included and breakfast, although not bad, could be better. |

Anda TillereI was dissapointed. Breakfast was the only good thing about this hostel. Sheets didn't look very clean, room wasn't cleaned as well. One very old computer. I wouldn't stay again. |

Adam Glen-BottBreakfast was satisfying and helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. However, the pictures on the hostelbookers website are very misleading and do not represent the true dankness and dinginess of the hostel. In particular the dorm rooms have peeling wallpaper and the whole place has been badly graffiti´d. Furthermore the showers are pathetic and one cannot even turn round in them, added to the fact that they sporadically shift between scalding hot and freezing cold this makes the whole experience somewhat traumatic. Airconditioning is reasonably ineffective but most of the building is in shadow so its not so important. Would not recommend it - the general feeling around the place (from other travellers too) is that the place is like an asylum/crack den/prison. It´s a bit of a free for all across 3 floors to try to find crockery and pans for the kitchen too. There appeared to be only one transportable electric hob for all 191 rooms...makes for a bit of excitement though. |

Customer reviewThe breakfast was great - a buffet and real value for money but beware, breakfast was served between 8 and 9am. Those that came late missed part of the buffet. A little bit far from some of the tourist attractions in Barcelona (the city is quite big though) but with the city metro, you shouldn't have any problem. |

Customer reviewThe fridge in the kitchen didn't work and it was almost impossible to find a pot in which to cook (much less utensils with which to eat), but the location of the hostel was good and the hostel itself was fairly clean, so there are no huge complaints here. |

Customer reviewLa Cuitat is in a great place, its about 8 minutes walk to Placa del Nord and about 10 minutes to Placa del Sol, which is the best place to have a night out in Barcelona. near to Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia and with good priced resturants and bars near and close to Joanic tube station and well away from the Ramblas and the rip off prices. |

Kathryn HustonVery helpful staff, free internet, DELICIOUS and generous breakfast :) Showers were not always the cleanest, but nothing too bad. Sheets were also not so clean :( Location isn't good if you want to be within walking distance of the old town, but it's close to Parc Guell and you can walk to Sagrada Familia, and it's a nice, quiet, less expensive area of town which is nice, and the Metro is cheap and quick to the city centre - very convenient to get to and from the hostel. I would stay there again, tho I'd bring my own sheet this time! |
