Liked: Such a relaxed atmosphere. With everyone else around it's hard to feel like I'm traveling alone.

Disliked: Hot water, while hot, was a little hard to figure out.

Liked: We stayed for two nights and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was so welcoming and suggested the Capri boat tour. If you go, you have to go on the tour. It's around 50 euros and you're gone all day. It's so much better then struggling it out on your own. The atmosphere is very friendly. It's a family run B&B and there are guests there staying for a couple months. Considering we paid such a small amount of money, it was PERFECT. If you're thinking of staying in Sorrento, this is the place to stay! I've never stayed at a hostel before and this was the best experience I could've asked for!

Liked: Good location. Close to the metro, the beach and Las Ramblas. Great place to meet people. Cereal and Toast for breakfast. Grocery store is close. Fun time! HOT SHOWERS! There are lockers to keep your stuff if you have to check out before you actually leave the city. We fit one small suitcase and a backpacking backpack in one for 2 euro (all day). Very secure lockers in the rooms to keep your things.

Disliked: Had an older gentleman stay in our same room. He was like 40s in a youth hostel. Just made me uncomfortable.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful from the second I checked in to the second I left a week later. I couldn't have asked for a better Barcelona experience thanks to staying at Barcelona Mar. Easy to meet new people, close to Las Ramblas along with many other attractions, clean and helpful. Highly recomended!

Liked: The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. The hostel is in a useful location. We had lockers and internet and hot showers, and it was all straight forward.

Liked: The staff were excellent - they went out of their way to be helpful and were always keen to assist us. They contributed to the generally laid-back atmosphere.

Disliked: The route to the hostel from La Ramblas felt quite unsafe, but that's not the hostel's problem.

Liked: It was clean and spacious, big lockers and lovely communal area, plus hairdryer in the bathroom is great

Liked: Great place to meet people. I arrived after travelling with people for 2 weeks for my first night alone as a solo traveller, and made friends with people straight away.
