Liked: Some thing I didnt like. They do not provide the sheet, some thing in my opinion, essencial. Therefore, should be included in the price paid.

Liked: I liked certainly the helpfull staff (reception desk, cleaning personnel), they were always happy and willing to help and give every kind of information needed. I think this is the main advantage of this hostel :)

Liked: It was a nice hostel, but we had a private room and we thougt that we had an double bed, but it was a upper/topper bed.

Liked: For a first time experience at a hostel of any kind - I can categorically say that this hostel was better than a hotel, especially for the price! Very reasonable which enables my friend and I to spend more on vinto tinto and tapas at the local Boqueria Market. Great location between Parallel and Liceu, just off the Las Ramblas.Great shopping both at local Spainish shops and the major chains stores. We felt safe and our shopping was secure in the private room safes and since both my friend and I had a key to the room, there was no issue with leaving things outside of the safe within the room itself. The bed is a bunk-bed and smaller than what I'm used to but extremely comfortable. Clean sheets and towels available on rent so we didn't need to carry our own - a good things when having to travel with easyjet and ryanair baggage restrictions. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The noticeboard has a list of events and club nights which we followed and very much enjoyed. For those of you who need to sleep in, wear earplugs to bed as the noise of your neighbours running to the bathroom can be disturbing. Bathrooms were cleaned everyday - no issues there. Breakfast was lovely...simple and healthy. The luggage room safe came in very handy indeed as our flight was well after the AM check-out time. The entire experience was great and reminded me of my halls of residence at Uni! I was sad to leave :)

Liked: There is a free kitchen for us to use. it is important to have some hot food for us after a day travel.

Liked: the kitchen was handy but small. Free internet with 3 computers so that was great. Lockers in the room was a good idea and luggage storage and laundry service. Lots of people and loud so if that is what you are looking for its good, but if you want quiet and homley type place this is not it.

Liked: Private lockers for your stuff in your room. Very clean! No smoking inside which is great. There were designated areas/courtyards outside for smokers. The only problem would be that there weren't enough female showers and toilets as peak times had massive queues.
