Liked: Location!!! center of the Barcelona life,very close to metro so very easy access to every point of the city.

Disliked: If you care about cleanliness shared bathroom would probbably make u dissapointed.

Liked: very good location. fairly clean to an extent and secure.

Disliked: no air conditioning meant a very very uncomfortable stay. bedbugs meant very unhygenic and added to the dicomfort. felt like you were just trying to fit as many people in the hostel as possible.

Liked: The staff is nice. Breakfast is fine

Disliked: There is not air condicition, during the day it is very hard to stay in the room. The toilets are always very dirty. There are only 2 showers per floor

Liked: The location is about all it has going for it - for that reason alone I would go back there

Disliked: I was travelling alone and it has rubbish social areas so you cant really meet people as no one to stick around there, the staff are rude, grumpy and not helpful. They seem to give a bother about the city or about your stay there. Disliked the lack of air-con and rubbish showers!

Liked: Fast, free and accessible internet. Someone organising and informing of nights out. Location was good as in the centre and not too far from beach. Apple juice and hot chocolate at breakfast

Disliked: Breakfast was poor - cereal stale and lack of variety. Receptionist could have been friendlier.

Liked: The location is very central, at the middle of tourist centre. The staff is nice. There is free internet and a large dining room for meeting other people. Locker and luggage room is provided, good for safety.

Disliked: Becuase it's at a very central place, you can hear noise in the bedrooms, not good for people having difficulty to sleep, but good for people like clubbing.

Liked: The location is very good. It is one of the few I could find that had linen and breakfast.

Disliked: The rooms were TINY and not very clean, the beds were awful, you couldn't sit up in the top bunk, nor could I access the stairs to get to the top bunk so I couldn't get down very easily. The breakfast is fine but there is no room in the kitchen to sit and it's SO squishy. The bathrooms are not very clean either and there were no locks on the shower door on our level. The staff were not particularly friendly except for one female staff member who was very helpful and gave us great advice about Barcelona. It was ok for a short stay but i'm sure there are better hostels in Barcelona.

Liked: The location was great- close to the metro and the most popular neighborhoods for tourism.

Disliked: Some of the amenities advertised fell short of my expectations. The "breakfast" offerings were especially pathetic. Also, the bathrooms here are not for the squeamish, but they are functional

Liked: Location

Disliked: Breakfast (tasteless toast and cereals, smelly trays, hot milk is a combination of milk and water, sometimes there was no butter, only marmelade). The floor and tables in the kitchen were dirty, also the "fresh made beds" were full of hair. After the cleaning lady "cleaned" the room there was still litter in the bin and the floor was still full of dust-hair. Anybody can enter the hostel and so we got robbed in the dining room. There is no kitchen-only microwave and you cannot borrow any dishes or tableware. Sometimes there was no hot water in the showers.

Liked: the commen room is very well used, so it is easy to meet people if your travelling alone. there are pub crawls too, which is a sure fire way to make mew friends.

Disliked: it was pretty full on- there wasn't much oppertunity for down time as the hostel is always very busy. the staff are quite surly, but will help you eventually. and the lift is the SLOWEST in the world!

Liked: Very close to La Rambla so you weren't far away from anything. They organised nightly bar crawls which were a great way to meet other people staying at the Hostel. There was free internet access which was a bonus if you are addicted to checking whats happening on Facebook etc.

Disliked: It was very noisy 24/7, the rooms should have been air conditioned but we stayed in 2 different rooms and neither seemed to have working air con. The breakfast was very basic but i suppose what you would expect for the price although can't begin to explain the cornflakes which were inedible by the end of the week!

Liked: Big lockers, they could take the whole backpack, and of course an excellent location. Breakfast was decent, corn flakes and juice, along with a petrified croissant :pPublic area closes at 1 am though : /

Liked: cleaness but room was too small especailly bunk bed's stairs..it was only less than 20cm i think...it was very hard to climb my bed..and when i took a shower..there was only curtain.. yeah that s okay but if s/o open the toillet door, somebody can see you...because of that reason i moved other hostel ...if you consider comfortable shower booth, this hostel is not suitable i think....and almost everyday lift was out of order...i stayed 5floor;;but it s up to you....cause staffs were kind..breakfast was okay!and no curcew...so at night if you sleep early i make you annoyed!!

Liked: Location is what makes this place bearable. But what isn't bearable is sleeping in Spain in summer in a room with no air condtioning. A single fan in the corner does not constitute air conditioning. Waking up as wet as you are after dipping into the ocean is somewhat uncomfortable. Not to mention yuk

Liked: Good location, Its very close to ramblas, about 5 minutes. Metro is very close, so you can move around the city easily. Free internet, breakfast is ok.
