Liked: its high visual standards did not compromise with price, making its hotel standards affordable.we found the 24 hour reception and buzzer let in system both convenient and safe.would happily recommend to friends and travellers a like

Liked: Somnio was clean and simple with a great location in central Barcelona. The staff was very helpful and seemed to be know everything. Some of their guests were more the partying type and less the sightseeing type though so it made the nights somewhat loud. If you are a heavy sleeper or keep the AC on, it drowns out most of the noise.

Liked: Staff were brilliant. Dont know if me and my mate got lucky but we met loads of great people during our stay, and the fact that the bottles of red wine were flowing inot the early hours certainly helped. Would recommend and stay there again if going to BarcelonaOnly negative would probably be the price. Ive stayed at hostels which charge 8 or 9 quid less a night and got ensuite. Only a minor flaw in what we thought was a great little hostel

Liked: Great Location and very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. When I go back to Barcelona I would defintely book nights at Somnio again. I also met great people there including a Scotsman who was always willing to show everyone a fun time around the city.

Liked: very close to the action but not in a seedy area.very safe, secure and suprisingly quiet- thankgod for those shutters!!!no real common area for meeting up, hanging out if weather was bad. most bathrooms small

Liked: Great staff, very clean, with a new, sleek fit out. Lockers in the dorm rooms, with towels and sheets provided. Very comfortable and new unlike many other hostels! Also good location and easily walkable from Placa Catalunya or La Rambla.

Liked: This place was nice and clean, and the staff was really friendly. I met multiple people here and even some from where I am from. I would suggest this hostel to anybody. The dorms are not super crowded and it comes with everything except breakfast, but there are some great places to eat just around the corner. Thanks for the great stay.

Liked: Everyone was so very nice and helpful. The hostel was clean and in a great location. It was also helpful that the owners and workers spoke several languages! Awesome stay!
