Disliked: The rooms, the floor get the cracking sounds when people walking on it. and someone was like dancing on the top of my head. If you want a good sleep, this is not the place.

Liked: Great location (literally around the corner from the metro), feeling of privacy, clean, comfortable.

Disliked: Only issues I had were with other customers thoughtlessness, such as waking up and talking loudly at 6.30am or coming in at 1.30am, switching on the main lights and proceeding to chat for 45 minutes. Earplugs are a necessity. Only problem with the hostel itself was that the internet connection played up sometimes.

Liked: Great location. The mezzanine style bunk beds made it feel like summer camp!Only thing is the showers would be great if there were hooks or something to hang your clothes on while youre showering. Oh and the internet is free for 20 minuets, after that you'd have to pay

Liked: Great place, great location and lotta fun people!

Disliked: Nothing really. It was completely fine for me. Maybe the floor was a bit creaky when I walked over it (I had to leave at 330am so I hope I didn't disturb those who were sleeping) but apart from that everything was good.

Disliked: not friendly staff (with rare exceptions). strange schedule of cleaning. they charge for everything extra. no free internet although they say that on their web site..

Liked: It was in the center of Barcelona..You could reach everything really fast, as there was a metro sation 2 minutes away from the hostel!

Disliked: I would prefer if there was something like a ventilation system in the rooms, cause when 6-10 people are sleeping in a room... Also the floors where noisy..for me is not that serious cause i sleep deep...but for others maybe it is more serious..

Liked: Very fun environment, easy to meet people. The location is PERFECT! Right next to the metro stop.

Disliked: There a lot of people in one room, but it was fine because each bed has curtains, a light, locker, hooks, and a plug. Sheets were provided, but you have to pay an extra 2 euros for a blanket.

Liked: The location is ideal, good value for the money, no bed bugs.

Disliked: Top bunk is really, really high, like a treehouse. Squeaky too.

Liked: Best hostel I have been to so far, own bed section, own wall plug, drawer.

Disliked: Common showers, but pretty clean. Wasn't close off, but there are lockers.

Liked: The rooms are fantastic with real character, almost den like with the curtain to separate the quarters. Plenty of room. The decorations and the roof terrace were all positives too and the atmosphere especially in the evening with plenty of people to talk to and play games with. Location is perfect for the gothic quarter with a great irish bar just a stones throw away.

Disliked: we were staying in the top bunks and everytime someone flushed the toilets the noise of the water system was annoying at times but wouldnt put me off staying again.

Liked: it has a really good location near a couple of the main streets and only a short walk to the beach. breakfast is pretty decent. friendly staff.

Disliked: the floorboards are really too noisy, no joke. the bathrooms can be a little gross. really uncomfortable mattresses--i'm glad i brought my mattress.

Liked: Good location, a metro station in front of the door, and very close to the beach(within walking distance)! Nice place to meet people in the common room, the bed with a curtain is perfect to have your own privacy, breakfast included is also great.

Disliked: It's a bummer though to be not allowed to stay in the common room after midnight.

Liked: We loved this hostel! It had so much character and the facilities were great. It's a good place to meet other travellers, and it's in a great location to explore Barcelona. Very clean, secure, and friendly.

Disliked: As all the other reviews warned us, the floor boards were shocking and you could hear every step, and the street outside was a bit noisy, so if you are looking for peace and quiet and a good nights sleep, maybe look elsewhere.

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff that monitored everyone who entered. Liked the en suite toilet.

Liked: The hostel is in a great location in Barcelona and it is kept up really well. The decorations are awesome and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. There are always people around to talk to and they do fun outings together at night. The bunks are great because they each have their own privacy curtain and locker. I LOVED THIS HOSTEL.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I liked the vibrant colors and atmosphere. The loft-style bunk beds were also great, as it was though I had my own private quarters even though there were 11 other people in the room. great hostel experience!

Disliked: my only complaint would be the proximity of the dining tables...very hard to find a place to sit because one cannot squeeze through to an availability in the middle.

Liked: The location was excellent for all the sights of the gothic quarter. The rooms were laid out well so you had a bit of privacy, often lacking in other hostels!

Disliked: It was a little claustrophobic in the dorm, and the beds on the upper level were just a mattress on a wooden floor.
