Liked: Curtains in the beds, lockers in the rooms (you need your own padlock), linen included, although they said in hostelbookers that it's not. Many showers.

Liked: I LOVED this hostel. Great location, so close to the beach, La Rambla and in the Gothic Quarter. The lay out of the dorm rooms which include curtains for the beds makes you feel as if there weren't 12 people in the room with you. Two toilets to each room. Breakfast was good.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: the staff were great and helpful, especially Tomas, nice breakfast, interesting small alley locale

Disliked: no smoking was strict rule,wifi did not work in private rooms, vendingmachines need to be serviced more. also a wallet with l.arge cash was stolen, i think in the process of sleeping right next to threatening young man and my luggage moved it was taken

Liked: Clean, safe, fun and great location. Sheets and breakfast provided as well as 20 minutes free internet. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: Not much except maybe the 10am checkout.

Liked: FANTASTIC hostel. Right in the heart of Barcelona, couldn't ask for better location. Really great for young travellers, very social place. Plenty of cool people to chill and have a drink with.

Disliked: Not the highest quality rooms, but who cares

Liked: The dorms are divided into cubicles so you get a bit of privacy.

Disliked: It is extremely noisy and far too hot & stuffy in the dorms (in mid-june)

Liked: Location

Disliked: The place was absolutely FILTHY. I actually didn't shower since I thought I would end up more dirty. The toilet on the 1st floor (american 2nd floor) for the females was covered in urine stains, the floor was covered in hair and dirt. The large dorm (16-18 bed?) reeked of mildew, mold and body odor. The mattress also smelled and was very thin piece of foam, not a real mattress. You only got 1 sheet for free (to use as a cover for the mattress) and had to pay for a sheet to cover yourself, and pay for a blanket. Internet is not free. By the time you add up all the additional charges to rest somewhat comfortably, the cheap price is no longer a benefit. The front desk staff did make a phone call to see if a shop was open, but they weren't really that interesting in conversing with us. This is a "party hostel" with people coming in/out of the room all night long (especially in the large dorm) and everyone was drunk and loud (rifling through bags in the middle of the night). There are MUCH BETTER hostels for similar prices to stay at. I usually have the attitude that I could "stay anywhere for 1 night" but this was stretching it.

Liked: Great staff helped fix my booking error first thing and gave me extra internet time because of it. Met some great friends in my room who I'm still keeping in touch with. I loved this place's character and fun vibes. Just a good time overall.

Disliked: You have to pay for internet after 20 free minutes.

Liked: The location of the hostel is actually really nice. It's in walking distance to La Rambla, but even better is the metro stop that is practically right outside of the door. It made getting around the city so easy! Also there are some attractions pretty close to the hostel.

Disliked: The security here is a bit shady. I checked in early because my train got in around 5:30am and then I left with friends for the day around 10. When I got back to the hostel at 5:30pm to check on things and change, all of my things were missing from my bed including the stuff I had LOCKED in the lockers. I went to the front desk freaking out and apparently they had checked me out of the hostel and then decided it was okay to unlock the locker and take out all of my things. The same thing happened to my two friends who booked an extra night. It doesn't make you feel secure about your belongings when the staff is taking them whenever they please... The internet situation here really sucks too. They give you '20 minutes' free, but the 20 minutes runs out in about 15 at the most. Then you have to recharge the card, but the machine to recharge it was broken the whole time...

Liked: This hostel was amazing!!! I usually don't prefer to stay in hostels but a friend reommended this one to me and I was very pleasantly surprised with how incredible immaculate the rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces were. I stayed in the large shared room with about 16 people but there were thin walls and curtains seperating all the beds to make lofts and small private bunks so that it was much more comfortable than any other hostel I've stayed in before. The front desk workers were also incredibly friendly and full of suggestions for things to see and places to eat!

Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect!

Disliked: VERY noisy floor, walls felt like a paper, bad WiFi connection, towel costs 2 euro, and a blanket costs 2 euro (you need blanket whatever because in rooms were cold)

Liked: I thought it was in a pretty good location and right by the metro which is a definite plus. The showers and bathrooms were clean, most of the staff were helpful. The Non Stop tours and the Pub Crawl were really fantastic, the tour guides are great and the pub crawl is definitely worth the money! Great way to meet other travellers!

Disliked: The room was absolutely freezing and there didn't seem to be heat...they don't even provide a blanket, you have to rent one.
