Liked: It was near the train station

Liked: Very close to main roads/ shops/etc

Disliked: Not clean, plenty of cockroaches, there is a cleaner that comes everyday ( I dot know why she bothered coming if she wasn't going to clean). Cleaner also cleaned out all of our beer, gin 1 week in to our trip, apparently it just dissapeared! Bathroom and kitchen need to be renovated, hardly any appliances ( no toaster or kettle and the oven didn't work)..

Disliked: The bathroom facilities were disappointing, the room had no balcony (not even window), the bed was broken.

Disliked: - the sheets were not clean -had to change them ourselves - too many people for 1 shower and toilet (10 persons on our appartment - even if you paid for a 2 person room) - room was very small with no windows

Liked: Cheapest I could find

Disliked: Shower was tiny, shower curtain was broken, and you had to hold the shower head, there was no holder for the shower head. Not a bad experience, just would have been nice to have a shower curtain cause water got everywhere.

Liked: BCN Loft is great value for money. Having read some of the previous reviews we were slightly dubious but it truely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and all common rooms cleaned daily by very cheery and friendly staff. When there was an issue with hot water not working we notified the staff and it was fixed later the same afternoon.

Disliked: The freshness of our sheets was a slight issue as they smelt slightly musty but we hung them out to air and they were fine by the time we needed them!

Liked: Good location, only 5 minutes from las ramblas, more of an apartment style accomodation, shared kitchen

Disliked: 1 bathroom for a large amount of people, some people dont clean up after themselevs in the kitchen, no hot water so cold showers!

Liked: Great location. Computer for internet.

Disliked: We could hear everything from the living room area. The other guests were very noisy. It's not really the hostel's fault that people were noisy but the rooms should be better soundproofed at the very least. I would not go back since I had a really hard time sleeping while there.

Liked: Okay location, very helpful staff.

Disliked: It´s not stated clearly that it´s a shared apartment (shared kitchen and bath). plus it´s a bit annoying that once you´ve placed your order on the website, that´s when they tell you that you will have to call them upon arrival - for me and my foreign phone that makes a price-difference.

Liked: Very secure, very nice living area, good kitchen and bathroom. Bedrooms secure, basic but comfortable.

Disliked: When all rooms full sharing 1 bathrom with upto 12 or 14 people means waiting very long time for shower etc. There were no proper lights. Just plug in lamps.

Liked: The Location, welcoming owner.

Disliked: Only one bathroom for 8 people, and the shower, the water does not go away, it takes to long. So taking a bath in a tub, where others have used it, you preffer if the water goes away fast, not to be like a lake.

Disliked: I disliked the bathroom (they weren't very clean) and we had a really hard time figuring out how to check-in.

Liked: There is a smell in the room, but the room was clean and nice.. The general atmosphere is good but common areas can be more clean.. And a water heater would be very good for visitors..

Disliked: The smell of the sheets... And bathroom needs to be more clean..

Liked: i liked that it was off the street and we could feel secure of a night .

Disliked: 1. the sheets and doona were filthy 2. a cleaner was meant to come everyday but this was not evident . 3. other residents in the apartment did not abide by the rules stating that if they are up past 11pm they must be quiet and respectful towards other residents. The other residents were up until after 1am some nights 3am banging and slamming doors , yelling , screaming and talking loud in the common area . As we had early flights and wanted to see the city early this placed a huge burden on our trip as some nights we had no sleep.

Liked: Property in a very ideal location, 5mins taxi ride to nearest beach (barceloneta beach) and 5mins walk to the main strip of La Rambla.

Disliked: Only 1 bathroom.
