 That it was central but quiet, that we had privacy (we went as a couple so weren't looking for a fun party hostel, but there were other nice couples there too), and that we had a kitchen to cook in.

It wasn't a hostel,it was an apartment. I liked the fact we had facilities to ourselves. Good location.

Quite cheap for a very good location. I enjoyed this system of shared appartment that allow to meet people.

For sure, the best is location. The hostel is very close to famous Rambla and you can very easily catch a bus or Metro from Plaza Cataluna! At first, don't be worried when you will be not able to find the main office-reception is situated at very narrow and quite dirty place! Nevertheless, I recommend BCN Loft as a place, in which you can spend good time in great location and not spend all your cash for accommodation in Barcelona ;)) What's for sure very important during seeking a good hostel ;)

I like many things... for example - no problem with comunication in english, posibility to meet people from different countries, perfect location, room number 7 is really big:-),with nice windows, people work in recepcion are nice and friendly:-)

Location was awesome, staff seemed pretty unfriendly though. Guy turned up to the office 20 minutes late for check outs and then snarled at me for not using an unmarked key dropbox. Everything else was a winner though!

Appartment we were given was in a good location and on a relatively quiet street. room and facilities were pretty basic, but price was reasonable for Barcelona.
