Liked: location, very near to beach

Liked: The location was amazing, right on the beach and a little out of town. It was close enough to all the sites to walk to, but you didn't feel overwhelmed or worried about your belongings like you would right on las ramblas. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast, and the hostel is right around a ton of great cheap seafood restaurants.

Disliked: It was definately noisier than we wouldv'e liked. The walls between the dorms are only partial walls, so you hear everything from all the dorms.

Liked: It was right on the beach and very close to all of the clubs.

Disliked: There was quiet hours and a no drinking policy in the hostel, both of which we were not aware of. The heat was on even though it was about 70 degrees out so we were sweating the entire time we were in the hostel. There were not complete walls between the rooms meaning on the top bunks you could look over into the next rooms. This also meant that you could clearly hear everything going on in the next room.

Liked: Everything was great about this place! RIGHT on the beach, very friendly staff, clean, good breakfast.

Disliked: The only problem we had with this hostel was that the people in the next room were REALLY loud in the middle of the night, despite the quiet hours. The walls between the rooms don't go all the way to the ceiling, so we could hear everything they were saying. However, the person working at the desk came back and threatened to kick them out and call the police, so they got quiet finally.

Liked: It was next to the beach.

Disliked: Although it was next to the beach and you can´t have the hostel next to the city and the beach, after the buses and metros stop running the only way to get back to the hostel is to take a taxi so that is a little annoying but to wake up and eat breakfast looking out at the beach I will take that over having to take a taxi home any day of the week.

Liked: Only 3 things: Location. Location. Location.

Disliked: Room was not clean (used condoms under the bed), there was no a wall between our 8dorm room and the next one (in fact it was just a plywood sheet) so basicly we slept with 16 people instead of 8. Our room was very dark, w/o windows, extremely poor breakfasts.

Liked: - literally 10 metres away from the beach - barceloneta is a cool place, and 5 min walk from one of the main train stations - cool free gothic and guadi tours

Disliked: - no common room - no kitchens - the rooms are very strange... they are all connected so you can hear everything anyone says in another room, and when their light is on, it shines through the square gaps in the cieling - rooms can have up to 9 people.. - they dont give you bed covers, they only give sheets and a pillow... the negatives are still worth enduring because having the beach so close is really great. Although the beach itself isnt so amazing.. Sometimes there are jelly fish, there are always annoying people trying to cell beer and mojitos. And its usually absolutely packed with people. I would still come back to this hostel though; there are no other hostels this close to water. Barcelona is awesome!

Liked: The location was awesome.

Disliked: apparently there is a lights out at 11 to respect other guests, that's awesome, however the 8 other people I shared a room with were very drunk, loud and did not respect others and didn't see any staff remind them to respect others. We sign a form to follow amdnrespect rules, and these guests did not. And the breakfast is not good at all. The Internet barely worked for wifi and if you used their computers, you only had 20 minutes free, and then you have to pay. No linens included on the beds and the matresses seemed dirty.

Liked: The location is probably the best you can get in Barcelona - you can literally jump out of your bed and be on the beach two min. later. The staff was nice, talkative and helpful to us during our entire stay. There was aircondition, breakfast included and lots of other young people to hang out with. Overall we had an amazing time at Equity Point Sea.

Disliked: Unfortunately there was a lot of noise. Even if your roomates keep quiet you can still hear people in the other rooms. However, you can get ear plugs in the reception if you have a hard time sleeping, which is very likely if you are a light sleeper.

Liked: Right infront of the beach, internet is cheap, your own bathroom for each room, very chilled

Disliked: Very noisy! The walls don't blockout the sounds (or light) from the rooms next to you so if ppl are loud at either 2am or 11am - you can hear it all!

Liked: location is just wow: you can go swim in the sea whenever you like. also bed #7 at the 7-bed dorm is awesome -- it's like your private little room. ^^

Disliked: a little dirty in the shower (sand from the beach), water on the floor (because of the sand in the shower, obviously).

Liked: very close to the beach, friendly and helpful staff, good bathroom and air conditioned

Disliked: the walls were not floor to sealing so you could here the other guests conversation.

Liked: Honestly, the hostel is located at the best spot in Barcelona. 5 minutes walk from the best clubs and 10 steps away from the beach.

Disliked: The rooms were small and hard to clean so there was sand a bit everywhere on the floor

Liked: Amazing location, right on the beach. Very friendly atmosphere, we met some great people while we were there. comfy beds :) lots of services on offer, internet, cafe, sight-seeing tours. The staff were always very happy to help.

Disliked: The bathroom very quickly got unclean being shared with 8 people and the shower was easily blocked by the sand. There was no ceiling between rooms and so you could hear everything going on in the hostel including very drunk stayers stomping around at 4-5 in the morning. The location however made up for all of this.

Disliked: no dividing walls between rooms so you can hear everyone else in three 9 bed dorms. up to 26 other people!!!!! very very very noisy from eleven pm until 8 in am. noone reminded guests that other people wanted to sleep
