Liked: The only good thing about this hostel is it's location... it's 10 feet away from the beach. Everything else sucked. The staff is NOT friendly at all. No matter how many COCKROACHES you kill there will still be another one waiting for you when you go into the bathroom. It wasn't very clean at all. The walls in the rooms don't go all the way up to the ceiling so it feels/sounds like people in the room next to you are in your room which is really creepy. There are a bunch of random sketchy people who work there for a room. The second night I was there one of the employees knocked on the door and mumbled something about the bathroom so I let him in because I thought he was going to clean it or something..... He goes into the bathroom, shuts the door, and takes a shower. Don't stay here unless you like cockroaches and rude sketchy employees showering in your bug infested bathroom.

Liked: The hostel is kind of noisy sometimes, so I used a "noise cuts" that were on the reception. Even the rooms are very small we enjoyed the location and great breakfast every morning. Kind staff. Thanks!

Liked: The staff is pretty messy! Everybody who arrives there has to wait about half an hour to be hosted! When I made my reservations I said I would be there by 10 A.M., I had to go there abou 3 times so i could finally get a room! And that was only by 5 P.M.. For a traveler thats walking all over the place is nice to know that you have a bed to get some sleep!The other thing that really upset me was the fact that I booked a room for only girls, I was changing and suddenly with no announcement came a guy from the staff to clean the place! I don't think that is a good thing in a restricted girls room!Also, the rooms don`t have windows! And they are all conected by the ceiling, which makes all the rooms pretty noise!Didn`t like it, wouldn`t recommend and never go back!

Liked: First I have been impressed by the surroundings of tis hotel, just near the Barcelona beach ! Then came the cordial welcome of the young Polish receptionist. She spoke a perfect Spanish. Same thing for the night receptionist who, as a Senegalese, spoke French. I must mention clean bedrooms, nicely decorated common rooms, quiet night and excellent plentiful breakfast. In short, no reason to complain, but all reasons to be satisfied and to come back.

Liked: Advantages: this place is litterally right on the beach which was awesome, it is close to a ton of restaurants, the staff is really helpful, you get into certain clubs for free on certain days of the week-the front desk will give you a stamp on your hand before you go outDisadvantages: if you stay on the first floor it is kinda noisy, the walls are paper thin and actually non-existant at the very top of the room so you can hear everything the people next to you do and vice-versa (we were told to be quiet because of this...woops!)

Liked: AMAZING staff! So much fun to hang out with and super helpful with finding fun things to do in BCN. The location is amazing, right on the beach, and the atmosphere in the hostel can't be beat. We didn't want to leave!

Liked: the beds aren't comfortable, and you need to hear 16 peaple's noise. the staff is felpfull, bat you need to pay all of extra items. the internet is free only to 20 minuts. but the cost is only 10 euros, value for money.

Liked: The staff is nice, big lockers, clean. Have breakfast in the morning because you can meet many of the other hostelers at that time. Also, the location is unbeatable, being ON the beach.

Liked: The location, you do really just walk out the door and you are on the beach. If you only want to site see it is a little distance form the metro and centre. Breakfast was really good. The staff were helpful.

Liked: lovely location just in front of the sea.. near the olimpic village and las ramblas walking, beside the harbor, many restaurants around....was great for me, i had fun!!!!

Liked: nice to be right on the beach. freezing at night, sheets were not included. would have liked to know who else was staying in our room, someone came in very late at night and we didn't know if he was an intruder or a resident. overall a good time, though.

Liked: The location is amazing. You will have to pay a fee for EVERYTHING extra including sheets, if you use a credit card, blankets, towels, etc. If you want to save $ bring all this otherwise an another 7-10 EUR per night to your stay.

Liked: you can swim in the sea before breakfast. I stayed more then 1 night they asked me check out next morning and check in again for a different room.

Liked: Access to the beach is awesome. The hostel itself is pretty weak. There is no real common area to meet people, the breakfast is suxor, the associated bar thingie is expensive, the wifi is free but only works in the bar and the computer kiosks you only get 15 minutes a day on, you need your own lock for the lockers, you have to pay for a sheet, etc. etc.

Liked: The best hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona! Location right on the beach, bathroom in the room, good breakfast, 20 minutes free Internet every day, luggage room, very helpful and friendly staff.
