Liked: This hostel has a very nice location. To the beach 10 meters and to the center of Barcelona you just have to walk 15 minutes, which isn´t very long if you are walking across a beautiful harbour or other sights. Finally you can say, that if you are going to visit Barcelona i absolutly recommend this hostel with its veeeery good cost/perfomance ratio.

Liked: The location of this hostel is by far its best quality. It is right ON the beach.....sand about 20 yards from the door. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Concerned about the safeness of the area, a girl was robbed outside of it my first night. Guests have to enter through a back door at night and that door is in a shady alley way.

Liked: It´s a good a hostel, the location is breathtaking and I really felt safe there. Of course, you´re expecting a hostel and this is what you´re going to get, but I would definitely recommend it to others and come back at any time. The rooms may be narrow, but everybody´s got their own "sleeping cave" with its own plug and its own light. The beds are wide and comfortable, and the lockers in the room are big enough to store all of your luggage, so I had no safety concerns. I was also surprised at the bathrooms, they were not bad at all. And my personal highlight was the wireless internet connection from my bed. Bring your smart phone or laptop and you can surf comfortably directly from your room when your legs can´t carry you any longer. Something that may be missing is a bigger common area and - for longer stays - more kitchen facilities. But there are so many people around, especially at the seaside, and it is definitely a social place. I´m not very sensitive to noise, so I´m probably not the right person to judge whether it is a noisy hostel. You do hear everything that´s going on in the neighbouring rooms, the walls between the rooms do not reach all the way up to the ceiling. But again - it´s a hostel. Noise always depends on the people around you. The location is beautiful and walking to the center takes about 10-15 minutes. The street up to the hostel is pretty busy and there are always people out, so walking back there in the dark is no problem. At night, you should still avoid dark streets whereever you are in Barcelona.

Disliked: Here´s the deal: be prepared, adjust your expectations and you´ll be fine. The only thing you get for free is a sheet to cover the plain mattress and a pillow cover, and for everything else you need to pay extra. So bring along the following at least: a sleeping bag/blanket a lock for your locker a hairdryer an alarm clock if you need one I had to pay no extras because I brought everything myself, so there was nothing for me to feel bad about. One last advice: if you´re afraid of heights, try not to get bed number 7. You´ll know why once you see it.

Liked: I love how it is extremely close to the beach, and how there's free tours every day such as the Gaudi Tour and Gothic Tour, which is a plus. The breakfast is another major plus. The rooms are very quiet, hardly any noise. The bathrooms are cleaned everyday. There's a restaurant within the hotel so you don't have to go out anywhere, your choice.

Disliked: The Metro is a bit far, but there's a bus line and the walk is worth it by the marina.

Liked: The staff were incredibly helpful and breakfast was great. Location by the beach was really nice too.

Disliked: The streets and surrounding rooms could get noisy, but it is a more of a party atmosphere so that is to be expected.

Liked: For summer this Hostel has the best location in Barcelona, though misses some of the more basic facilities that equity point hostels offer, no kitchen/lounge area or no games room.The night manager is awesome...

Liked: The location is fine: right on the beach. They try to keep the place clean and the staff is nice. Breakfast is just OK. However, there is a couple of things which were driving me nuts.

Disliked: Firstly: they overbooked so they sent me to another hostel in the middle of the night even though I had made my reservation pretty much beforehand. Secondly: cockroaches in the bathroom. Disgusting! Lastly: too much noise at night
