Liked: It was close to the city centre and was clean and tidy with nice staff !

Disliked: I t was a little expensive as the beds were poor quality but other than that it was ok.

Liked: It was really good to be at the center. Grau is serving you this opportunity. Everthing is very clean and fresh..

Disliked: Some rooms are at the dark side of the building and if anybody has problem with this they should be inform the staffs in advance. I had a problem about this but they were very kind and changed my room..

Liked: Great location, and secure entry system.

Disliked: It is not made clear that breakfast is extra so we went for breakfast most days believing it to be included within the room rate. At 6.50 euros you can get a much better breakfast elsewhere so we were angry with this. Room 309 is also not very nice - there is no natural light as there is no window (only a lift shaft!) and the see-through glass shower is in the middle of the bedroom so you are on full view to the person you are staying with. Not good at all. There are also no drink making facilities within the hostal or fridge which I expected.

Liked: Beautifully clean, my number one priority. Very helpful, friendly staff. Perfect location right at the centre of Barcelona, 5min walk from airport bus, Metro, Las Ramlas, places to eat, great shops and the famous market.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. Would have been made even better by having a kettle in room.

Liked: great location right next to la rambla (literally takes 2 minutes to walk there). wifi in rooms (even on 3rd floor). staff were helpful. hostel looked really nice.

Disliked: no breakfast included. not a good place to meet people.

Liked: The location is excellent, also the cleanliness of the place.

Disliked: They did a mistake. We booked 2 nights and they had a confusion and booked 1 night for us. But they gave us a better room, so at the end all was perfect.

Liked: First time staying in a hostel and found the customer service far better than most hotels you stay at as its their own business and rely heavily on good reviews so they really do look after you. We stayed in a private room with ensuite and balcony and it felt and looked like a hotel in the rooms. Its in a good location at the top end of la rambla. If you like the beach i would stay closer to the beach although you can get there by transport and a short walk otherwise its a good half an hour walk. Free wifi and they also have a computer to use.

Disliked: Only minor and wasnt due to the hostel,but we could hear stomping from the people above us. We were HARDLY in the room so it was only an issue in the morning when most people got up for breakfast as we sleep in til lunch. No tv in the room but we had i pads, but hey youre in barcelona! :-) There was no fridge or kitchen facilities which i assumed most hostels had so that was my ONLY dislike as you couldnt buy drinks from the supermarket to keep in the room but they do have a vending machine downstairs and a bar next door. We would stay again.

Disliked: Perfect for groups travelling! I wouldnt recommend it to travellers looking to meet other travellers.

Liked: Centrally located to everything especially the metro station, very helpful staff and nice ambiance.

Disliked: Room was not cleaned after our first night but did not receive a discount. No AC in rooms. Breakfast was not included.

Liked: The room designs were fantastic and were very clean. From the front reception room through to the upstairs rooms it had a great feel about it and the people working there were so personable and helpful. The location couldn't have been been better for exploring around the city.

Liked: An excellent, helpful staff. Superb location.

Disliked: It needs an elevator! 3 levels of stairs with your luggage is not easy

Liked: Fantastic location. Our private twin room had great air conditioning and its own sink. The room was cleaned daily. Free internet. 24-hour reception. Great atmosphere and decor in the rooms and lounge area.

Disliked: The breakfast buffet looked a bit sad, so we skipped it. There are good cafes nearby anyway. The internet signal didn't work in our room, but we were able to use both our own laptops and the hostel's computer out in the lounge.
