Liked: Plenty of character, and perfect location right in the centre of town - spitting distance to Catalunya Metro, La Rambla, MACBA and the rest of Raval, and 10 mins walk from 'Gaixample'

Liked: The location was excellent--a block off of Las Ramblas. The staff was very nice and the overall atmosphere was excellent. We stayed at this hostel four years ago and it has been fully remodeled since--it is very tastefully furnished and decorated. It is a treasure hidden away just feet from one of the most visited spots in Spain but is still reasonably priced.

Liked: Very friendly staff who monitored the door for safety, helpful with directions & suggestions. Beautifully decorated with comfortable & clean rooms. Location is away from noise, but short walk to the action, metro, and shops. Not really a hostel, but an economical hotel. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

Liked: The staff couldn't have been more helpful - we were there for a Spanish holiday and they gave us a sheet explaining it and traditional baked goods and champagne of the day. Plus the location was absolutely perfect... about a block away from La Rambla and 2 blocks from the metro. I will definetly stay there if I am fortunate enough to make it back to Barcelona.

Liked: Right in the middle of the interesting old town but wonderfully quiet. The fact that is not a place to party is a great plus, not a negative. There are plenty of places nearby to do that.
