Liked: you get free breakfast and dinner! great way to meet people everyone is nie and friendly. i was a solo traveller and i met some awesome people. great location on la rambla. everynight the hostel takes you out to a club for free! barcelona night life is awesome! loved it!

Liked: I Liked the atmosphere a lot, the fact aboiut beeing a lot of young travellers together at one place is just perfect! The staff was extremely kind and helpfull, and I liked that the had a lot of knowledge about Barcelona city. Everything was perfect!

Liked: Good party atmosphere!! Free brekkie and a free small wittle dinner!!Very Secure!!! Free entry to clubs!!!!

Disliked: It's got no togetherness, if you can't be all out going, it's kinda hard to meet people seeing as everyone is in their own group. IT NEEDS MORE TOGETHERNESSNESS!!! :P

Liked: It is a great location and they will help you out with mostly everything! They recommend doing alot of things and they also bring you to clubs for free! Such a great place to meet people!! Definitely recommend!

Disliked: It is kind of in dark spot in the Pl. Realia at night but just be safe and everything will be fine! It is secure!

Disliked: THE STAFF. They're just annoying, selfish assholes that don't want to work there. i've been threathened by the staff to be arrested just for having a smoke outside the hostel....

Liked: It has a very good location, the breakfast is good, and there are complimentary dinners if you get to the bar in time,

Disliked: Where do I start? No wi-fio and internet was 2 euro an hour. However, the machine to add more time to your account was broken, and the staff didn't care nor had any idea how to fix it. The staff in general are apathetic and unhelpful except when organising social events. The walls are very thin, the square it's situated on is loud and the staff don't care when other people have loud parties in other rooms and in the doorways until 2am. That's not an exaggeration. Good for partyers for 1 or 2 nights but a terrible place for a serious traveller.

Liked: the common area could have been okthe lockers in the rooms are very secure though given the special locking mechanism that they use

Disliked: very cramped rooms, unclean walls and the bed appear to be dirty rude staff

Liked: There was a great atmosphere. There is a lounge/cafeteria area with computers where breakfast and dinner is served. It's a great place to meet people while eating, or just hanging out over some beers that they sell at the hostel bar. It was clean and they gave you information on anything you need. They take you out to clubs, cutting the lines, and avoiding you paying cover charges. The one thing is that it's a youth hostel, so it's not great sleep.

Disliked: If you want a good night sleep, this isn't the place for you.

Liked: Very professional hostel, with good free dinner to meet other people. Personal free large lockers for safety. Fantastic location and view of the Plaza Real

Disliked: No personal lighting in the rooms, very annoying in a large room where there is always someone sleeping.

Disliked: The staff. Ther were kind of rude and didn't return my key deposit money, which by the way was unusually high (15 euros). I might have had bad luck, but I felt that they are always trying to get more money out of you.

Liked: Incredible location, could not be better, right in the heart of where you want to be in Barcelona, La Ramblas. Great atmosphere, good free food, AMAZING value for money pub crawls (they get you into the best clubs for free), great place to meet people and a party atmosphere. Barcelona is notorious for pickpocketing etc but the lockers they provided were like safes and had huge thick doors so you felt that your stuff was really safe. Good key/lock system too. They have a professional cleaning team (not just gap students) who clean every room and bathroom for like the entire day so everything was always spotless. Don't stay anywhere else in Barcelona, and if you really want to party, book into a 20 person dorm like we did, just don't expect to sleep.

Disliked: Don't expect a good nights sleep if you're in a big dorm. The pub crawl starts at 2 am which means that there are pre-drinks in the big dorms beforehand and people arrive home anywhere from 3 until 6 am so you're constantly interrupted, but if this is an issue for you (it wasn't for us, we were there to party) just book a smaller dorm or even a private room. Just a warning.

Liked: Every single night there is an event planned, so there was always something to do!

Disliked: All of the rooms had a very funky smell. It also looked like there was mold growing from the ceiling where the air conditioning was so that could explain the smell....

Liked: Location is good.

Disliked: No powerpoints in rooms so have to leave devices behind the reception, pretty annoying really. Also, staff weren't the friendliest and my electronic/magnetic key for dorm and safe worked about 10% of the time.
