Liked: One of the best hostels I've ever been! The staff are really helpfull and the location is very good (near La Rambla, an important street in Barcelona - restaurants, supermarkets and metro stations nearby). Great place to meet nice people.

Liked: the location is very good, but a little bit noisy

Disliked: much to much strangers in there, there was a fight in the lobby while we arrived there, only police was able to stop it. staff is not friendly, rooms look like a prison, toilet was closed during 09:00 and 10:00 am, i think the most frequnted time in a hostel. The living room turns into a dubstep party in the night time, horrible...

Liked: Awesome fun - bar has a great atmosphere where you can meet heaps of people & enjoy Barcelona's nightlife! Also right off La Ramblas so great location for exploring during the day! They also provide free breakfast & dinner everyday & beer is also cheap at the hostel bar.

Disliked: Nothing. Just don't expect to get much sleep!

Liked: Nice atmosphere, EXCELLENT LOCATION, mediterranean breakfast included, noise-isolated and air conditioned room, helpful staff, all that for reasonable price. RECOMMENDED!

Liked: Great fun, specially if you are traveling alone!

Disliked: DO NOT GO to the parties that the hostel offers! Make sure you do some research before! The clubs were smelly, full of drugs, and people were very strange! DO NOT GO!

Liked: it's near the bars and clubs of barcelona and also near th city center.it's a hostel where you can have a lot of fun and to meet people.

Disliked: if you book the room where you will be sleeping with other 18 people it's better to have earplugs.we have problem with the light because each bed doesn't have their own light.

Liked: The location in Plaza Real is amazing and the fact that they take you out to a different club every night is great. You don't pay cover (which is very expensive in Barcelona, we went to one club that charged 20 euros) and you get to skip the long lines.

Disliked: The rooms were small and cramped (I was in a 10 person dorm that wasn't much bigger than my bedroom at home) and there were no outlets or garbage cans in the room. The only way to charge my phone/iPod/camera battery was to leave it at the front desk which was pretty inconvenient. I didn't find the staff to be very accommodating either. For example, you have to give a 15 euro key deposit at the beginning of your stay (which is fine) but when my friend checked out days later they didn't offer him the deposit back. He came back an hour after he checked out because he remembered the deposit and they claimed to have already given it to him. They essentially accused him of lying to them and it almost turned into a screaming match. I'm assuming they make a lot of money by forgetting to return people's deposits as it's easy to forget days later.

Liked: Amazing, helpful, friendly staff always ready to help. Great atmosphere and fantastic location close to public transport, shops and everything you might need or want to see in Barca.

Disliked: great location, free breakfast and dinner, the terrace...

Liked: loved the atmosphere and the location was great. the free walking tours were good and the bar crawls are highly recommeded!!! also great to be able to get into clubs for free 6days a week, and the free meals were sweet too!!! would def recommend this place to other travellers, but dont expect a quiet night in!!!

Liked: The location is great, it's quite cheap, and it's good enough as far as security, free breakfast, and providing the basics that you expect at a decent hostel.

Disliked: The Kabul Hostel is basically a cross between and annoying summer camp and a drunken frat house 24/7. It's extremely loud, semi run-down, and the staff seem like they're constantly trying to rip you off rather than being helpful. They often won't give you recommendations or directions, saying they "don't know," and they'll kick you out of the shower but a terse "This is the time that we clean." If you don't mind getting any rest and want to party in your hostel rather than actually experiencing the city, this is the place for you.

Liked: This was the most amazing hostel I have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned daily, and I felt very safe having their lockers. The best part was the location. It was AMAZING!

Disliked: Nothing really, I can´t think of one complaint.
