Liked: I've got my own key suitable both for the main hotel's door and my room door- so I could leave the hotel any time i liked and back at any hour having key with me - absolutely independent. Hotel cleaning service was ok. The property location 75% - 15 to 20 min walking distance to city centre. Safe neighbourhood!

Disliked: Personel did not speak english or very little!!!!!!!!! Cleaning service at all!!! Internet available only at reception, printer out of order, lack of safety deposits in rooms.

Liked: Having a very good location; cleanliness, safety and value for money are the positive sides of the hostel, moreover, the breakfast was for free and rich.

Liked: The hostel was quiet, clean and had private rooms available for a very reasonable rate. The breakfast was excellent (fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast with various spreads, coffee/milk/juice, meats and cheeses) and secure parking was included in the price of the room. The hostel offered free internet. Staff were professional and helpful, and those working during the day all spoke fairly good English (the security guards who take over at night speak very little English, however. If you are arriving late, it would be helpful to have your reservation information printed off as this may make communication easier). There is also a really beautiful park just across the street from the hostel.

Disliked: This does not reflect on the hostel directly, which is actually very secure, but you should keep a close eye on your valuables when walking in the surrounding neighbourhood. We had a ruck-sack stolen from the back seat of our car as we were waiting to pull in to the parking lot! Violent crime does not seem to be a problem, but theft is. That being said, I didn't get the impression that this part of Barcelona was worse than others with regards to those problems.

Liked: Clean and quiet hostel. It is university dormsץ

Liked: It is close to the city, opposite of a very nice park. The appartements are good value for the money you pay.

Disliked: The bilding, it self has totally no atmosphere, but who care it is only for a few days.

Liked: Really good location, near to the beach and restaurants but isn't noisy at all. Staff was great, and good basic breakfast.

Disliked: Only minus is that there's no air-condition..It gets 'pretty' warm...

Liked: The Kitchen had every utensil we needed to prepare breakfast and lunch to go. There was a market nearby that offered affordable groceries

Disliked: Not too many things were open around the area at night, I wouldn't walk alone here after dark.

Liked: it was a very clean room, nice open windows for plenty of air flow, the staff were very friendly, and the location was right between the beach and the markets. also included a free breakfast!

Disliked: the bathroom got very hot as there wasn't any exhaust. only one set of cutlery in the shared kitchen

Liked: Rooms were cleaned every day, stove&fridge in the rooms were good. There were some utensils, but not many (our room had no cups). Unfortunately our room wasn't ready when we arrived so had to stay in different rooms the first night. Breakfast is pretty good (cereal, toast, doughnuts!). The only thing was it was hot! There are fans but still hot. Very close to many sights&the beach

Liked: I had a whole kitchen in my room. Very useful.

Liked: University halls. Clean and had a ensuite with kitchen facilites although only had a hob and no cooker. Only 10 mintue walk from the train station.

Liked: It was a great place, safe and quiet. Only a few minutes from the metro and we were able to walk to most places, even to the beach!The place was also clean and had lots of room to put our stuff in. The kitchen area also allowed us to buy food and cook so we saved some money that way.There´s also a grocery store only a couple of minutes away.Definitely would recommend it.
