Liked: The reason I would not recommend the place to my friends is because it is a young peoples place and we are in our 50s. The staff are excellent though

Liked: The free breakfast is great! You can also buy a bag lunch to go (during the week) so you don't have to worry about buying expensive tourist food while sightseeing. Sheets provided! Excellent location! The metro is really close and easy to find. Lockers in the rooms.

Disliked: Towels cost 2 euro.

Liked: It's very clean, the rooms are all locked, and each individual has a locker in the room. All the dorm rooms have their own bathrooms. The kitchen is decent, has a lot of space, and is generally quite clean. Free breakfast isn't the best, but is at least filling. The rooms also seem to be quite well sound-proofed, and luggage storage is in a secure place.

Disliked: WiFi doesn't reach the rooms, it's a bit out of the way (takes about an hour to walk to the city center, or 20-30 minutes by metro), and while it's a very nice place to stay, it lacks character. Because it's so big (a lot of large groups and even families stay there), it doesn't really have a community atmosphere, and it can be hard to get to know people.

Disliked: 1. There's only 4 computers while the hostel can have like per night 100 visitor. so sometimes its hard to find free computers which is not good. 2. There's no WIFI in the Rooms

Liked: Free Computers for internet access. Attached separate toilet and bathroom with the Dormitory. The location was at prime place. Walk-able from Main railway station (Barcelona-Sants). You can pack your lunch too.

Disliked: There was no lock in the shower room in dormitory.

Liked: It was close to Sants station, and for the rest it is perfectly fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere could be better, but I was there only to spend the night.

Liked: The best price I could find, friendly staff and the posibility to leave the luggage there for the day after check-out. Quite good location, free wifi and breakfast.

Disliked: The linen don't fit to the bed. There could be more variety for breakfast - this time there was only butter and sausage to put on the bread. But anyway the price was excellent and there was nothing to really complain about.

Disliked: The water for showers does not get very hot and the stream is not continuous.

Liked: Spotlessly clean,excellent free tasty breakfast in nice neighbourhood with a large shopping centre close by.Also no nasty shocks and no surcharge for non members of YHA.

Disliked: Nothing really except perhaps not easy to interface with fellow travellers---perhaps my own fault!

Liked: Unbelieveable breakfast&service for such low price!

Disliked: There was a problem to find hostel at first.May de add to "direction&map"- metro "Marta Cristina"- exit to "sortoa-gran via carles 111", direct to building "El corte ingles" till crossing Numancia & Avenida diagonal- turn to right.

Liked: Though not exactly centrally located, it was near many interesting areas, with bus and metro stops very near the front door, and a shop, as well as plenty of restaurants, right around the corner

Liked: Adjacent city bus/taxi pick up. Short walk from railway station. Lovely facilities. Very clean. Helpful staff who all spoke good English.

Disliked: No dislikes, other than short notice bed rates do rise, so book early to get the best deal.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The amount of accessible utilities is amazing; laundry, kitchen, free wifi, open cafeteria, outdoor patio and ATMs all around the area.

Disliked: It's not so much a youth hostel as it is just a really cheap hotel with multiple beds in each room. For instance, in our room there was a family with a 4-year-old kid staying and at least three men with an average age of about 50. It was fine, but it's not really a good place to meet young fellow travelers.
