Liked: Great hostel. Helpful staff, clean bathrooms. It's kinda in a back alley but alas very close to the main street la Rambla.

Liked: Location of the hostel is very good! Just off Ramblas. Relaxing atmosphere, good showers, cool people and absolutely amazing staff! Nice and spaceous common areas. Free wi-fi and computer. I enjoyed my stay, I will definitely stay there again at my next visit to Barcelona.:)

Liked: The people in the reception is pretty nice and helpful, and the decoration od he hostel is colourful and warm. The bathroom is very clean. It is not noisy at all at night becuase our rooms are not near the main street.

Disliked: sometimes we feel a bit not secure and comfortable. The bathroom is outside and we feel cold in the morning when we take a shower.

Liked: Great facilities, excellent kitchen, video room, social spaces. Everything kept clean and nice, attractive quirky hostel like decor. Security strong given that everyone needs to be buzzed in.

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful, and even when we needed to add another night in one day notice, they found us a room in the hostel. the location was excellent, and compared to what you pay in Barcelona, it's good value for money.

Disliked: The rooms facing the street can get noisy at night, as the garbage truck goes there around 4 AM, but that's to be expected. if you can get a room to the terrace, the bathrooms are much closer and it's quiet.

Liked: recently renovated, colourful and friendly atmosphere, great location for party as well as for sightseeing and shopping

Disliked: room to the street side was incredibly noisy 24 hours a day, could only sleep with noise protection in the ears (Oropax) and then it was still loud

Liked: Clean rooms. Very very good location in the middle of the heart of the city! Friendly staff with helpful information and hints for good locations in town.

Liked: What a delightfully welcoming and pleasant hostel - try as I might I can't find anything to criticize about our 3-day stay. The location is tip-top, especially for those who want to make the most of a short stay in Barcelona. The interior is a gracious period apartment made friendly with a vibrant, colourful paint job throughout. Our rooms (two different private doubles) were a practical size, but felt bigger because of the high ceilings. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and at night there were no problems with noise (always something I appreciate). The communal kitchen is very clean and orderly, and it's nice to be able to take your breakfast onto the big roof terrace! We met several of the owners/staff during our stay, and they were all very helpful and informative and speak wonderful English. We noticed them cheerfully and patiently giving sightseeing advice to other guests too. Was really pleased that we chose this place.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. We had to change rooms during our stay, since we had booked the last vacancies - hardly a major inconvenience, but still the very considerate staff emailed me within minutes of the original booking to make sure this was no problem.

Liked: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. This was located in the heart of Downtown Barcelona. You can either walk or take a short bus ride to the beach, and pretty much all you want to see. The place was also very cute and the staff were very friendly.

Disliked: Paper thin walls like the other commenter have mentioned. You've got drunken neighbor next door, you will wake up in middle of the night, for sure. You will also hear your neighbor's door closing and opening, turning on lights, etc.

Liked: Location is O.K. but difficult to find it because the name of hostel is very small and not visible enough.

Disliked: Room is small it is quite noisy.

Liked: Location is in the city center that allows you to go anywhere easily. The room that I and roommate shared was clean. Staff was very kind and helpful so that we got advice about our route for city.

Disliked: Honestly everything was ok just only one thing maybe I could add about it, our room was next to the kitchen so that you could get noise of people and smell of the meal cooking in the kitchen.

Disliked: DO NOT STAY HERE if you plan on sleeping. It seems as if there is a marching band playing in the street below from 2am to 10am.

Disliked: Not a paradise for a good night's sleep - nearly impossible to sleep with walls seemingly designed to amplify any noise throughout the hostel and heavy drilling. If you would prefer not to hear everything going on in everyone else's rooms do not stay here.
