Disliked: little bit away from the city center. but don't mind metro station is close.

Liked: I love the atmosphere of the hostel!This hostel is simple and nice,and i have a pleasant stay in this hostel with my other friends.I would definitely recommend this hostel to my other friends.

Disliked: Nothing bad bout this hostel.

Liked: It was quite close to the centre, even by foot, but by metro just a few stops away from the most beloved spots. I have read somw reviews about the rooms being to narrow and tiny, but I think the size of the room was just fine, and it was great that there were lockers for our stuff.

Disliked: We didn't know beforehand that we have to leave a deposit of 10€ for the bedlinen. It wasn't a big problem, but it's good to know it before to have enough cash with you. Otherwise just one thing is left to mention: the elevators functioned rather strangely. We chose the stairs on quite a few occasions.

Liked: Price Amount of computers available with free Wi-Fi Late night bar Swimming Pool/Gym facilities (although not used) Rooftop Area (also too cold to use) Multi-lingual helpful receptionists (all but one) Cleaners always cleaning

Disliked: No fresh air whatsoever as the windows weren't allowed to and couldn't be opened Cramped (but clean) toilet No door security so people can just come off the street and walk around the hostel Being quizzed incredulously for wanting to change my disgustingly smelly blanket

Liked: It was close to all facilities and activities and the staff were fantastic!!!

Disliked: when using the lift, there was always a bad odour/smell, other than that it was fantastic!!

Liked: The Barcelona Urbany Hostel is a perfect hostel for any travelers. The rooms has toilets and showers inside, the kitchen has 4 huge fridges and a big space for interaction. The staff from reception is always trying to help and the bar is absolutely awesome. If you are thinking to come to Barcelona, this is an excelent alternative of hostel.

Disliked: Just one episode made me feel bad. I was in the kitchen and the people responsible for clean the fridges just started to throw in the garbage everything that was in.

Liked: The use of the gym is good.

Disliked: Whatever you do stay somewhere else. Breakfast is HORRIBLE, the rooms are tiny and too hot, even when we went downstairs repeatedly to ask them to turn the heating down it was never done and the windows are locked so you cant even open a window. The kitchen here is a FILTHY JOKE, it was always dirty and there aren't enough pots, pans, cutlery, bowls, two of the hot tops don't work so you have to wait ages to use the cooking facilities(fix it). The bar plays terrible music, something chilled out in the early evening would be nice and they maybe harden it up as the night progresses.

Liked: Great value for money; key card entry to all rooms & lockers. Central location within 3 mins walk of closest metro and direct train from Barcelona airport. Shopping centre within 5 mins walk with big Carrefour supermarket.

Disliked: Bed could be more comfortable; note all rooms are ensuite and there are no "communal" toilets except for two on the breakfast room floor. So if you share a dorm room with others you don't know, you may need to wait a while especially if it's shower time.

Liked: It is amazing value for money, the staff and people I roomed with were really nice and made the place what it was. Good standard of cleanliness except the bathroom ceiling which had obvious water damage some time ago that had dried but needed to be repainted. The gym, sauna and swimming pool were of a nice standard also.

Disliked: The breakfast was moderate but was expecting the option of a hot breakfast and as previously mentioned, the bathroom. A very good choice other than those two small things.

Liked: The location was a bit far from the city center, but I actualy thought the neighborhood was great. Non-touristy and full of people who actually live in Barcelona.

Disliked: Nothing, really. The staff doesn't really go out of their way to welcome you or suggest tourist sites, but if you're an independent traveler it's no problem. Plus, the staff was friendly and approachable, so I'm sure they'd offer suggestions if asked.
