Liked: I liked everything about this place. It's one easy metro to get to the city center. The staff was very helpful and all spoke English. There is a lounge with a bar on the third floor, with cheap drinks and food and also free internet. There are big lockers in the rooms that I was able to fit my whole suitcase in, and the lockers are also free. The sheets are a 10 euro deposit, but as long as you return them, you get them back. The rooms were clean and the bathroom in the room was cleaned everyday .And it's inexpensive for all it offers. If you're going to Barcelona, stay here!!

Liked: Facilities were great. Very clean.

Disliked: Very big and busy hostel; lots of groups (particularly younger high school students). Difficult to meet people because of this. Would not recommend for solo travelers.

Liked: It was near public transport in what appeared to be a very safe area. The staff were superb, very friendly & 100% helpful. Great bar in the venue with good quality and cheap drink. Bedrooms are cosy, a little small but you don't spend any time in the rooms so this doesn't matter. Great security system for your bags and the atmosphere in their helps everyone to be friendly and relaxed. However it is also set up so that you don't have to mingle if you don't want. I would reccomend this to any traveller. Didn't think I could get such good value for money!!!

Disliked: Rooms a bit small but that didn't faze me as I was rarely in the room. Kitchen closes at 10 as well which can be a pain if your back a bit late but haven't had you dinner yet.

Liked: We've stayed in 4 hostels during our trip to Spain, this was by far the best one (one we left in 10 minutes of getting there because it was so dodgey). The lockers are REALLY useful, it was good to know all our stuff was safe all the time. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. And 5€ for a bottle of vino is a definite plus!

Disliked: Nothing. The only annoying thing was that on the day we were going to get a snack from the bar the kitchen was shut because a school trip was eating. But that was just unlucky, Barcelona Urbany was really good!

Liked: Modern, clean, safe, close to Sagrada Familia, Eixample, Poble Nou. Tons of facilities, free gym - unconditionally recommended!

Liked: The staff was pretty nice and really seemed willing to help, almost all of them. Location is quite good, too, it's near a subway entrance, so you can go almost anywhere without much trouble. There's a locker room in which you can leave your stuff even after checking out, they charge 3 euros for that, obviously, but it's still practical.

Disliked: We had to wait until midday to enter the room, even when having specified we were arriving before that time, and so the reception was crowded all day with people waiting for their rooms. The room wasn't clean, we were told cleaning staff would be coming over during the morning to clean it, but that never happened, of course. Also, breakfast was quite poor, really. And it sure isn't the best place to rest, there's actually sort of a party in the 3rd floor like every night, so people walk up and down the corridors and in and out their rooms all night long, it was really annoying. Also, they offer no towels, and I believe they say they do offer free towels in the description. And the windows could not be opened, I can't tell why.

Liked: staff was very helpful and kind. Keycard access for hostel, room, and locker. Warm blankets, washroom in dorm.

Disliked: The food service in the hostel bar is not good. You have to purchase tickets THEN give your order to the bar. They claim to have food specials every night but every night I tried the bartender apologized an gave me something else. Kitchen closes at 12, and there are no cheap restaraunts nearby so you have to spend change on overpriced vending machine food. €7 just to wash and dry laundry, and their landline phone eats your money even if you don't use all of the minutes you paid for. Just overpriced for the hotel look they're trying to promote.

Disliked: Of season. Could do more to attract more people. Do something about the hot water. Keep the opening hours and offers.

Liked: Friendly staff, great music in the bar, strong wifi signal, gym, swimming pool are free and pretty chilled. You can buy a swimming cap there and there is a place up the road that has flip flops

Disliked: It's quite a young crowd. Not so much a complaint as a heads up

Liked: Nice atmosphere, Trendy. Breakfast was so so, but it got me some calories and kept me content until lunch. Nice view from the roof-top terrace. People were friendly. I liked the nice lockers in the room, and the bathrooms were good.

Disliked: Snoring roomate :(. As far as the place itself goes I liked everything. I didn't get a chance to check out the facilities (gym, pool/hot-tub or what-not) so I can't comment about that.

Liked: it was very good value for money! everything was new, witch is always nice. the staff was very nice and helpfull with some of our questions like night busses to the airport. there is nice chill area, and its nice to be able to eat breakfast outside! i have staid in a lot of hostels, and this one is deffinately recommendable, if i go again to barcelona i would stay there!!

Disliked: rooms was n little small, but not to bad!!
