Liked: Very good place to meet people, breakfast was ok, free internet was useful. The beers were cheap in the bar. and there were lockers in the room which i thought was great. would stay here again.

Liked: Positive: close to metro station (for sagrada familia 2 stops (3min), for catalunya 5 stops (8min)), close to estació nord (20min on foot) in a safe área. Nice terrace with view to Agbar Tower. New facilities with nice accomodation. Free metro and city maps. Free use of fitness club.Average breakfast.Negative: when I arrived and for more then 24h there was no internet. Also important to notice that the hot showers weren't that hot and I was told that they didn't work for the entire weekend before my arrival - guests had to take shower in the fitness club next door.

Liked: New and safe. The breakfast was quite good. The view from the terrace is also nice.However, 400 beds or so, attract quite many noisy youngsters and the common spaces are relatively small.The bottom line, quite good for the money, but a little bit too industrial for us.

Liked: Very nice place to stay in. The barman Fabien is very cool and friendly, drinks at the bar are really cheap. Every night, the hostel brings you in the best night club of BCN for free, you just have to pay the cab. Rooms are well organised and cleaned, showers toilets are in your own room and it's a great thing. There is a pool in the common room and many places to sit and discuss with other people. (For the free swimming pool and reee jacuzzi, you have to wear some special clothes for swimming... so bring it with you). I definitly enjoyed my four days in this hostel. It's on a main street of BCN, so easy to find and next to Clot metro station.

Liked: I did not like that they did not stop other guest from shouting and screaming in the middle of the night, next to other guest's rooms.

Liked: Was clean, however very little atmosphere, bar was poor and drinks are bought via a ticket machine... odd. OK if you are looking for clean hostel but little more.

Liked: Brilliant place to stay, more like a hotel than a hostel. Easy access into the central city and the "old town" aswell as Gaudi's church. The staff were extreamly helpfull and the facilities were brilliant.One thing to note, if you want to use the pool - which is free, you need to wear a swimming hat - charged at 2euro at the leisure center.Would definatly stay in this hostel again if i ever visisted Barcelona and would recommend it to all.

Liked: This is a HUGE hostel, which made it a little more difficult to get to know other travellers. It was a nice place though. They have a good kitchen where you can make your own meals and 5 working computers. The breakfast was nothing great - coffee, cereal, and bread.

Liked: Definitely a party hostel, though not as much so as HelloBCN. It´s also -very- large, so expect the kitchens and common rooms to be crowded at high traffic hours no matter what season it is. A good place if you manage to snag your own room and very, very modern.
