Liked: Its got everything you need and the price is quite reasonable

Disliked: I felt that even with the linen, the beds seemed a little dirty. It takes about 8mins to get to the city central by train.

Liked: it was extremely safe, the rooms were nice, and the staff was unbelievably helpful

Disliked: they turn all of the lights out at midnight which was hard when we were getting ready, six girls had to take turns in one bathroom

Liked: Safe neighbourhood, very close to train/metro station and Sagrada Familia, takes quite a walk to the city center but no big deal. The place was modern and clean enough, the room was nice and the bed comfortable. Multiple computers with free internet access were a plus. Considering the facilities and the fact that all rooms have a private bathroom, I think this hostel has very cheap prices.

Disliked: The kitchen was a big turnoff - other guests would not clean their dishes/pans/tables before leaving and it was all messy and dirty. Breakfast wasn't the best every, still ok. Our neighbours were extremely loud all night - this is what happens when a hostel is so big (12 floors), the staff just can't check what's going on everywhere. Staff was nice but seemed a little bothered when asked for tourist information.

Liked: we felt really safe in and around the hostel. we were allocated a locker each big enough to put our suitcase (carry-on size) in. the location of the hostel was perfect as it was very near a major metro station. staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: there was problem with the plumbing and water was sipping through carpet from the room next door & also drips coming through the ceiling above the shower & the basin. as clean as the room is, it made us feel rather gross out and make showering quite difficult. staff explained that it is a re-occuring problem.

Liked: It's a very nice place, with a lot of beds, so a lot of people to met. Its a little far from the main part of the town but iot's really near from the metro and the Sagrada Familia church (main attraction).The hostel is a very good one, i think the best that i had tried already!Free pcs, clean, common area, nice coffee break.!!!

Liked: Almost everything. Great value for money - including free use of sauna, gym and swimming pool.

Disliked: Bit far from the centre, but then again I managed to walk everyvhere from here and Sagrada Familia is just 10 - 15 min away by foot.

Liked: It is easy to find. Everything is kept clean. The breakfast is good. There are great deals for clubbing. The internet is very accessible. The bar is inexpensive. It was an excellent time, and I intend to come again.

Disliked: The security lockers run on batteries, but I didn't feel my possessions were at risk even when I couldn't lock them away because the rooms are well secured.

Liked: the biggest hostel, that I anywhere saw. Best atmosphere for teenagers. Good place for breakfast with beautiful view. Not usual disign.

Disliked: location is non so convenient for quick reach the dountown.

Liked: Breakfast included & good terrace bar

Disliked: Our room was tiny! We stayed in a four bed dorm & you could hardly fit four people in there. The lockers were not big enough to store our luggage. Shower sprayed everywhere except on you!

Liked: The location was ok, about 15 min. walking from Sagrada Familia. Included in price breakfast and a big sunny terrace were another pluses!

Disliked: I didn't like the bathroom, the water was stinky...maybe it's because of a big content of chlorine??! Don't know... The showers were uncomfy in using.

Liked: Very clean and safe, great lounge on 3rd floor with cheap drinks and good atmosphere to meet people, and organizes trips to local clubs at night with VIP passes so you don't have to wait in line

Liked: Fairly modern building, although rooms were small. Close to metro. Spacious lockers. Linens included.

Disliked: There were loads of kids! (as in 16 and under.) Also, a few families, so not a great place to meet people. And not much organized as far as social events. Although staff said the air con was on, it was rather warm in the room, and since it is located on a busy street, was too noisy to keep the window open at night. Disappointed with the breakfast - bread, cereal, oranges...that's it. Kitchen was ok, although wasn't equipped with any basics (salt/pepper, etc.) A bit out of the way from city centre, but close to metro station. Nice enough hostel, but will probably not stay here again.

Liked: very new

Disliked: luggage lockers cost 3euros and you do NOT get the money back when taking your luggage back out. I find it ridiculous that we have to pay for a service as simple as luggage keeping and yet access to swimming pools + gym etc are free.

Liked: Not a great deal. The saving grace of the stay was Guiseppe, the Italian host on front desk and his associate from the Sunday shift. These two made the end of our stay pleasant. So much so we are heading back to Barcelona, but will not be returning to Urbany. See dis-likes for further comment

Disliked: It is located a little out of the way. The internal temperature/air con is dehydrating and while the staff said they had reduced the temperature - it was hot. Constant loss of water pressure and water temperature & the 'lights out' policy And it cost more per night than our hotel in Venice! (We got a great deal in Venice!)

Liked: Safe and great facilities. Some staff were very friendly, but not the guy at the desk downstairs.

Disliked: It was a bit far away from the city centre and didn't have much in the way of social events in the bar, etc.

Liked: I liked almost everything. Staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, services, terrace and view, free entrance to swimming-pool, sauna and fitness... and many other things. And despite all "dislikes", I love Urbany Hostel in Barcelona.

Disliked: The kitchen equipment was not good, especially pans and knives. Key cards did not function too often, I had to get new one once and my friend twice a week. Coffee machine was out of order. The breakfast was sweet everyday (jam, nuttella) - i would appreciate a salty one (salami, sausages, eggs, cheese)

Liked: Everything!This hostel is a great world!Once you get in, you won't want to get out!First we went to pay and at the desk we were told about everything, the services, facilities, rooms and so on.Than we went to the room, completely clean, nice new friends and some great lockers, that you can open just with your card, so I could left there money, documents withouth worrying! The card is the only way to open the room door and the main door of the hostel too: great tech!In the common room there's a great feeling, you can discover new people easily, you can relax, eat cheap, use the public pc (There is also free wifi)!A lot of facilities and A GREAT TERRACE WITH A MARVELOUS VIEW!The best hostel never seen*****I want to get there another time in July (I hope so...)PS I was about to forget that because I didn't use them for the little time: There is a nice indoor pool, a gym and a sauna!GREAT +.+

Disliked: Everything was good, believe me!

Liked: very secure building, rooms, and lockers. wifi throughout the building. not near any of 'the sights', but very near a metro station.

Disliked: not much public space. not a great location in the city.
