Disliked: Hostal centric does not have an elevator, so it's not for people with a heavy suitcase.

Liked: Good location, great bathroom- and we've had some pretty horrible showers in Europe..., air conditioning and free internet!

Disliked: We were on the 4th floor and the stairs were killer every time we came back.

Liked: Good location. Just a few minute walk from the metro and only 1 station away from the city center which mean it's possible to walk.

Liked: The place is clean and central.Very quite.The only down side is the fact had no kitchen and no breakfast so you have to leave the hotel to have smthing to eat in the morning

Liked: Great location - 10 minutes walk from Pl. Catalunya and La Rambla. We stayed in a Superior Twin - the room was large with a balcony, as well as the bathroom, all newly furnished. There was an LCD TV (Spanish stations only) and air conditioning included. They cleaned the room every day. There are computers with the Internet connection in the common room, 2 Euro/h. No lift, but Superior Rooms are located at the ground floor. You could communicate well with the staff in English.

Liked: Great place to stay. Nice staff good accommodations. Private room had a balcony! A bit far from the main attractions but 5 mins walk from the metro and 20 mins walk from the city tourbus main stop. Very quiet at night.

Liked: The private room I stayed in was very small but spotlessly clean. Very quiet location. It is close to Pl. Catalunya (for a 10-minute walk). No elevator within the building, so be prepared for lots of stairs.

Liked: I liked the friendliness and ease of communicating with the staff. The Hostal Centric was absolutely perfect for my needs, a clean, well-kept place to stay with no frills but in an interesting old building that had character. I am glad they offered internet access for a minimal expense and the price for the room was a great deal. I'd definitely stay there the next time I'm in Barcelona.

Liked: I´ve been to a lot of hostels in my life. This is definetly one that´s really worth of the money. Really good location, just a couple hundred meters away from La Rambla.

Liked: they had hot shower and friendly staff tv and wifi and the location was quite easy to go to downtown

Liked: Good value, 24hr reception, nice building in a good location - off main streets but near to centre of city. Only big drawback were the stairs - 3 floors up by winding narrow staircase!
