Liked: I really enjoyed my stay. The atmosphere is really related for tourists, very inviting. they have got many offers and free tours. Stuff is very nice. very secure.

Disliked: I liked it, it was one of the best hostels I have been.

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: My linen contained previous user's hair. Facilities of the room were poor. No side light, only a few plugs far away from a bed, and very cold in the morning ( air conditioner was controlle by reception). Most of customers were from English speaking counties. That is ok, but one of staff, apparently an Aussie, actually said that; if you don't speak English, fxxx. It's Barcelona, mate. In addition, break fast was awful. Better to get something from outside.

Liked: We were two indian girls travelling to spain and were skeptical about staying in a hostel in barcelona...had heard of the robbers there!!! but BCN loooked like a college common room with so many friendly faces around. Handsome Kwwen...hope i got the name right...the most friendly guy (argentinian i think) at the reception put us at ease from the first second...then brenden and his walking tours were just amazing...then the columbian guy was so helpful about anything we girls wanted to know about barcelona...i would recommend it to anyone travelling alone becos the hostel arranges so many things for the guests..so even if you dont have a .the bar was amazing...loved the place....by the way this is the longest review i have ever written...just goes to show how good the place is

Disliked: oh its not that important in the scheme of things..except that the top bunkers in the bed were very sqeaky...and since my friend is a light sleeper, everytime she moved the bed would squeak and i would wake up...

Liked: Decent location, and the common room is lively.

Disliked: The six bed room was very cramped, but being there only one night I didn't mind too much.

Liked: The staff is extremelly helpfull, nice people. The place itself looks very quiet. And the location was very good. Clean room.

Disliked: The breakfast is simple, but is good. No cheese or ham. But the other options were good.

Liked: Staff were awesome, as was nightly free entry to clubs and nearly a litre of beer for 3 euro.

Disliked: When Brendan shaved off his moustache, apart from that nothing.

Liked: Very good hostel! Great common area with small bar and people that encourage everyone to be social & fun.mgreat events organized every night. The rooms were an ok size with great lockers that locked with your individual key. The keys were great because they strap on your wrist, so you always have it with you and won't ever lose it. Wifi worked well in the lobby.

Disliked: Wifi didn't work in our room. Breakfast was basic...but free!

Liked: Close to train station and walkable distance from areas like La Ramblas, Port Vell, etc. Common area helps in meeting new people. Staff are friendly and helpful. They organise lots of different social activities for guests such as nights out, walking tours, classes etc.

Disliked: Rooms can be quite cramped

Liked: Liked the cleanliness, friendly staff, facilites and especially the location, which was excellent!

Disliked: Being there in the off season it is hard to gauge the atmosphere, but even with the few people that were there it was quite nice.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen was good and large common area aswell as a second one with sofas. Rooms were great too.

Disliked: Bathroom could have been cleaned more often.

Liked: Really great hostel. Has really friendly staff that run the pub crawl. Great place to meet other travellers. Has things on every night. Loved the bracelet key cards because you didn't lose them. We will be back.

Disliked: Push button showers. Female receptions staff spent most of their time on facebook.

Liked: It was safe and easy to get to. The place was very clean and it had a friendly atmosphere to it.

Disliked: I only stayed one night and I was only actually at the place for a couple hours so I don´t have anything bad to say about it.

Liked: There were lockers in every room. The hostel doesn't have a lock-out time, or curfew so you can come and go as you please!

Liked: I loved the atmosphere of HelloBCN. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help, and they organize nightly activities which makes it easy to go out and have fun. Also the facilities were nice and safe.

Disliked: The area it was in was a little run down and a little outside the downtown core

Liked: Excellent hostel, clean, rooms very safe. Located very near Paral-lel metro station. Very friendly staff!

Disliked: Nothing... well, the hand dryer in the 5th floor bathroom was not working, but is the only bad detail :)
