Liked: Clean, modern, expected facilities including free interent, decent breakfast

Disliked: Repeating of same music throughout in the evening....became annoying... it was xmas when i was there....little xmas atmosphere...i feel this is important when away from home at this time of the year...xmas dinner was cheap,but limited, but can accept that for cost...but creating a nice xmas would have been easy....more decorations, some lights, xmas music, paper hat, some games, maybe even a cracker to pull...little xtra cost, but would have made huge differecne to evening, which died straight after meal due to lack of atmosphere

Liked: The staff were very helpful. They allow us to let our luggage there, so we could walk around the city without it, and then get back to the hostel to get it and go to the station. It also had a good breakfast and a good location.

Disliked: I disliked only one thing. As they don't have anyone to wash the dishes and ask their guests to wash what they use, sometimes is hard to find some well-washed dishes to use. But it was a minor problem, for sure.

Liked: I`m Indonesian and I love this place so much.... if you want to go to barcelona, then this place will give you what you need the most. The location is very good, thereś metro that connects you everywhere. and thereś a lot of restaurants nearby if you want to eat outside. the staff were very friendly and speak english very well. they help me a lot about anything that I asked to them. I felt like I was in my home. very nice roommate that will share their experiences and many more. I absolutely recommend this place. without this place I wouldn´t be able to enjoy barcelona... buat teman2 yang mau traveling ke barcelona, maka tempat inilah yg bisa memberikan solusi untuk liburan anda selama dibarcelona. saya mendapatkan ketenganan dan keamanan juga nuansa kekeluargaan di tempat yang sangat bagus ini. segala fasilitasnya memuaskan, kamar mandi dan sistem kunci pintu yg berupa jam tangan sangat memudahkan aksess anda disetiap area. dan bahkan ada lemari dengan kunci yg bisa anda gunakan untuk barang bawaan anda.

Liked: Awesome place to meet people - they have organized events every night where they take you out to a couple bars. There's also a bar in the hostel...good place to hang out and meet other travellers.

Disliked: If you are planning on cooking dinners, kitchen gets super packed at dinner time making it hard to cook.

Liked: The hostel was very clean. The common area was great! The hostel was great. The location was good. The staff were really friendly. It was a great place to stay and I would really recommend it to other travellers.

Liked: HelloBCN was easy to find and close to a lot of things. The staff was friendly and posted events in the lobby. It is also very modern; the keys are magnetized wristbands, which is very convenient considering how easy it is to lose things while you're partying in Barcelona.

Disliked: You have to pay for towels. It's only 3 euro, but it's still extra cash.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let me leave my stuff in a locker till 8 pm on the day of moving out. They did not mind I was around there at 4pm, using internet, preparing food even though I check-out at 11 am. More over when I was thirsty at 4 am (after long night out) and did not have a drop of water, after asking at reception I got 1 litre of nice cold tap water in a beer plastic cap.

Disliked: For the money I spent I can not complain. I stayed in 8-bed room. Sure you need to accept that people will wake you up in the middle of night, some might snore, the air will contain lots of alcohol....but that is how hostels are.

Liked: Really really really safe. The staff was friendly and helpful and everything was clean. Also great was the fact that the hostel will take you out at night!

Disliked: The showers were TINY.

Liked: Very close to the beach, shopping, great staff from all around the world, laid back, bar is good (only beer/sangria to offer). the pub crawl is amazing.. good times! there is one every night. definitely worth while. XD

Disliked: BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS! I told staff about it and asked to switch rooms, they didn't care what bed i slept in or asked any questions.. my friend got some as well. The girl behind the desk rolled her eyes at me when I told them, I was emberrassed. i was swarmed by bed bugs... over 200 bites easy. I had to ask for new sheets, they didn't offer me any, and i had to do my laundry three times. It sucked! and they did not compensate me at all, just a new bed/room. it was horrible. oddly enough though the city and what it has to offer.. as well as the people we met really made it for me. so we stayed at the same hostel. Everything else was clean though!..... XD

Liked: The bar was cheap and the place was always really clean. The location was an easy walk to the metro and to Las Ramblas which was awesome. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Disliked: The rooms are pretty small which is a shame. Also the shared bathrooms are like in public pools, with toilets and showers in one room, so you don't really have anywhere to get dressed unless you get changed in the open, or lock yourself in a toilet. The area can be slightly dodgy at night and the staff weren't the most accommodating. But I would still highly recommend it as a cheap, clean option.

Liked: Really fun hostel, everyone was really nice. There were activities organized everyday and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend staying here it's a great hostel
