Liked: I've stayed in a few a few hostels, and this was the best one so far. Walking distance to Ramblas, metro, and more. Cleanliness and security were very impressive.

Liked: The staff here was so helpful. My friend tore a ligament in her ankle our second day in Barcelona and the staff helped me track down American style crutches for her. In case you are wondering, American crutches are called muletas axilas. Great place to meet people and hang out!

Liked: We were very happy with our stay here and would stay again, however its always nice to know the worst things. For us the worst things about this place were :1. Breakfeast just tea/coffee (from a machine) and toast, very basic2. Showers have no temperature control, so a bit cool for my liking3. Room temperature is controlled by reception, so you may be a bit too cold or too hot.But even still, it didn't ruin our holiday and we would definitely stay here again.

Liked: bar, free internet, check system for luggage storage, amenities in bathrooms (hair dryer, soap dispenser, etc.), good value, easy access to metro

Liked: It was a very well run institutional style hostel, just a bit of a walk away from the gothic quarter of Barcelona. It was fairly easy to find just getting off the metro.
