Liked: An average hostel for the price they charge. One thing i would beware of is the parties that are advertised - we bought tickets for one of the party nights, which promised us VIP entry to the club and the hostel would take us there. But it turned out that we were the only ones going, so the staff refused to bring us to the club - they offered to take us to a mojito bar instead and point us in the direction of the club, which was very upsetting. Other than that, the hostel is okay, lots of facilities but be careful of the showers as they are quite see-through!

Liked: A very average hostel overall - they advertise a lot of facilities, but the problem is it all comes with caveats. For example, there is free breakfast, but it's only served till 10am which is quite early - if you oversleep, it'll be cleared by 10am sharp. Also, there are bathrooms with hot water, but the shower doors are quite transparent, and you can see quite a bit of the person showering inside which was very awkward! The location is alright, it's off La Rambla but you have to walk for another 5-10 minutes through a slightly dodgy street before reaching the hostel. Overall an okay hostel for the price!

Liked: Definitely a great place to stay while in Barcelona. Here's why:- Close to metro stop. Great directions are given by the Hostel. - Walking distance to Placa Espanya, the Art museum, La Boqueria- Friendly and multilingual staff- Tasty breakfast included (toast, nutella, jam, cereal, cookies)- Tea and coffee offered all day- Very secure lockers inside the room- There's a consign in case you need to leave your bags for a bit after checking out- LOTS of tourist and travel information about Barcelona. They've put together very informative binders about what to do, see, eat in Barcelona.- Cool vibe in the lounge. In the evenings, its a great place to meet people- Internet stations and wifi available. VERY useful. As a side note, alot of the guests were anglophone and in town to see much of Barcelona's nightlife. Expect roommates to come back into your room at 7am (if thats not you).

Liked: this was the best place i have ever stayed! i went on my own and from the minute i arrived it was made very clear to me that i wasnt! the staff are the nicest group of like minded people who go out with you all both at work and on their time off, the whole hostel has an amazing vibe and atmosphere. the hostel is very modern and has free internet 24 - 7 there is nowhere they cant tell you about or direct you too and have thought of every situation and have catered for it! i will be returning very soon to see everyone and go clubbing with the hostel (literally the whole hostel goes clubbing together everynight!) if you dont stay here you are making a mistake!

Liked: I loved my time at hellobcn it is a nice place and very fun. There is plenty of space to hang out and meet people and the staff is awesome. The only things that kept it from being perfect is that the outlets are only in one spot by the door in the room and that the wifi is weak. However eveything else more than makes up for those very minor bugs.

Liked: Best hostel ever! And I don't lie!!! Everything is perfect and modern chip locker system with watch chip. Like a NASA center, and very good furnitures, and perfect breakfast. I really liked it. Ready to help staff. Thank you Hello BCN.

Liked: Really nice hostel and a great place to meet people. Hostel's really clean and lockers ( with locks) provided. Breakfast (cereal, toast, tea, coffee) included and free internet, gym.. Pretty cool hostel and would definitely stay here again if I was in Barcelona!
