Liked: This was my second time staying at this hostel, I also stayed there last year, and everything was perfect as well as this year. However, couple of things one should have in mind when staying at the hostel - it is located in the notorious Raval quarter and it's not that dangerous, but not so pleasant either, still the hostel is the most secure one I have ever visited, the rooms are quite small, which is not so important because you only sleep there, and it is a hostel for younger and party people. I would really recommend this hostel, and I'm going back there next year I visit BCN...

Liked: clear rooms with comfortable system of security, very friendly staff

Disliked: very noisy on the street at night (ear-plugs are very helpful), one night we have a young couple on one bed - it's not a great pleasure to hear sounds of once private life

Liked: The bar area downstairs was great. They had cheep draft beer and sangria. The gym and elevator were other bonuses.

Disliked: Location left a little to be desired, however you a metro stop was just 2 minutes away.

Liked: Very secure - you get a wristband rather than a key/card for entrance, which is great.Clean & fun. The hostel organizes tons of activities. We enjoyed those we were involved in.The staff are friendly and always helpful.

Disliked: The population of guests tends to be a little on the younger side. I'm only 26 but felt a little "senior" at the facility.

Liked: the locker, nice staff, and location.

Disliked: the shower is kinda small, and i have to push the button every 15 second to use the shower.

Liked: Clean facilities, helpful & friendly staff, a big hostel for those who like to socialize. The key system is really awesome with access to personal lockers so if you forget locks, you are still in the clear. Showers were pretty clean, no changing area but it´s manageable.

Disliked: Sink were uncomfortable to use because they were narrow and covered by a shelf. That´s very minor though.

Liked: We found there everything what we expected: trips, parties, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. In the evening tasty sangria let us chillout before parties and in the morning free coffee kept us awake after nightlife ;) Great place to stay in! Hope to say: "HelloBCN" again!

Liked: It was very clean and pretty close to Las Ramblas. Very safe also. One of the nicest and newest hostels I have ever stayed at.

Disliked: The staff wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed with my questions. Also, if you are looking to meet new people HelloBCN isn't a good place because it seemed like people came in groups to stay there and weren't open to meeting new people.

Liked: the stuff was realy nice , helpfull , i liked the evenings that the hostel organized to go out together , i liked the way every thing i needed - i was responsed , the watch to open and close was very good security , laundry service was good

Liked: Close to most touristic places, it has a big common room where you can hang out and meet cool people. The staff is really friendly, They recommend places, tours, take you out at night. I've been 2 nights and met people from 20 differente countries!

Disliked: Wi-fi doesn't get to the rooms; though that's not 100% bad because it's cool to be with people in the common room while using the computer,

Liked: Staff make a great effort in making sure your stay is as full and enjoyable as possible and are very helpful. Facilities are cleaned regularly and the hostel feels safe with a secure entrance and lockers in the dorms.

Disliked: Although only there for a few nights, the events organised by the hostel were sometimes disorganised, although I appreciate that the staff did their best. We were unable to buy tickets for one event due to a lack of time, but some others were still able to purchase them after us. Despite this we had a great night out after being shown some local nightspots by staff who were again really helpful.
