Customer reviewWe did not stay in a hostel as such - the apartment was owned by a local hostel. We found it an adequate size for a studio apartment and the facilities were good - cooking rings, microwave, fridge, huge range of cooking equipment, etc. Nicely furnished, all decked out in IKEA things. Very comfortable large bed. Not too noisy even with windows open. TV and DVD player very good (not a complete range of satellite channels but a digi-box - mostly French TV but who cares it's not the most important thing). Only grouch would be lack of heating - it was pretty cold at night; however, one would have no problem during the summer as it was fully air-conditioned. The location was fine - very near La Rambla and not too far into El Raval for there to be too much of a safety problem at night. Overall impressed - if we went to Barcelona again we would definitely stay there again. Thanks Hostelbookers! |

Customer reviewWe stayed in the Apartment Rooms which were all new and modern. They were located 2 streets behind the hostel in the red light area. Some reall shady characters, and the door on the street that let you in to the aparmtent block was constantly left unlocked, which was worrying!. The room was great but the area was not for the faint hearted! |

Customer reviewstayed in private rooms 2 blocks from hostel. Good location only 200m from La Rambla. Best thing with the private rooms was the lack of noise. Sound sleep. Had a fridge, TV and Air Con - all working! Clean. |
