Golden Pond Guesthouse

We are a guesthouse located in Hyehwa, near Daehangno and central Seoul. Our hostel is a traditional Korean giwa-jip-styled building. You can rest comfortably and learn about Korea at our guesthouse.

Golden Pond Guesthouse started in 2006 and our new main wing opened in May of 2009. Our facilities are quite modern and very comfortable. In addition to the relaxed atmosphere guests will enjoy our central location and easy access to Seoul's subway and bus system.

We have single rooms, doubles, twins, 6 bed (including one female dorm) dormitories.

Location Information

We are located in Hyehwa (subway line #4) which is close to central Seoul. Hyehwa has a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, and is very safe at all hours. Venturing out to other parts of Seoul is easy because we are a 3 minute walk from the subway and mere minutes away from city buses and the airport bus. Here are some of the more popular spots that are close by:

2. Dongdaemun market: 2 stops by subway
3. Namdaemun market: 5 stops by subway
4. Insadong: 5 minutes by bus
5. Chang-gyeong: 5 minutes by walk
