Liked: very friendly and international staff easy to make new friends and plan activities together perfect for people who travel alone...the owner of the hostel also owns a language café in the city and most of the people from the hostel go there to mingle

Liked: It's a really great place. The people are great there, location and view are amazing. The connection with the language cafe is a great idea. Will come there again for sure. Special thanks to the French guy. :)

Liked: Incredible location (the view is great!) in a fancy apartment building, which was not what I expected for a hostel. It's a fantastic deal for the price! The people are friendly and more than willing to hang out and take you out downtown. The connection with a language cafe downtown is also a really great opportunity. If you like to party, you will be a very happy camper. If you don't, you can skip out on some ventures, and still go out to eat with others - they'll happily show you good places in town, or recommend sightseeing in other locations.

Disliked: Maybe another trash can/recycling bin? :P Things seemed a tad haphazard, but I think that's kind of the way things go when you have a bunch of 20-somethings moving in and out of a small place - in short, a hostel.

Liked: felt more like home than a hostel, really easy to meet other people, had a free korean lesson which was helpfull. Staff can can you out for a meal or drinks too which is really nice.

Disliked: not many amenities to hand

Liked: You won't believe this us a hostel when you walk in. It is absolutely incredible. Tiger is a great guy to hang out with and takes everyone out to bars. This is my new go-to place in Busan.

Liked: Being a smaller hostel, there was definitely more of community feeling - going out on the town with some of your new best friends is a great way to see a new place.

Liked: Pretty luxurious hostel in a quiet area, probably the cleanest hostel you'll ever find and the most awesome staff! Hanging out with them and the other guests was a lot of fun and the atmosphere was rather like being roommates. Definitely the best hostel ever :)))

Disliked: There was nothing much to dislike. Sure, we would have preferred to be downtown or closer to the beach, but the view of the ocean was spectacular, transportation to and from the hostel was good and

Liked: Best hostel I've ever stayef at. Awesome view and a great place to go for walks. Great set up.

Disliked: Nothing. Was a little worried it would be hard to find but taxis are cheap and if you bring the owner (tiger)'s number he will guide them/you. Taxi drivers are really helpful and happy to call off their own phone.

Liked: I just want to say: AWESOME! It takes a little while to get to the hostel, but it's still worth it as the facilities are great: a super nice apartment overlooking Busan's sea. Also, Tiger (the manager) is a great host and really cares about welcoming their guests the best way! Went out for dinners, tasted amazing Korean food, met cool people and had so much fun. If all the people running the hostel were like Tiger, the world would be better haha. No more cheesiness but stay here and you will love Busan and South Korea forever.

Liked: This hostel is really amazing!!! It's one of the bests hostels that I have ever seen! It's placed in a really cool bulding next to the ocean. It has really great coast views. You have all the facilities that you need! All was so clean. The staff were PERFECT! Tiger is really friendly and active. He took almost all the guests to have dinner together and having some drinks every night, explaining all about korean food and culture. He knows how to manage all the dubts and help everybody. I REALLY RECOMMEND that hostel.

Disliked: All was OK! I liked it all!

Liked: This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at. Tiger could charge twice the price for the facility and the view and you would still be getting your money's worth!

Disliked: The Hostel is a little ways from the main parts of Busan, but it is right on a bus line so there was never much of a wait to get anywhere and it gave us an opportunity to get to see more of the city!

Liked: The staff (Tiger) is awesome!!!! He took us out, showed us around and gave us a taste of the local culture. The hostel has a gorgeous ocean view, is very clean and is a very nice private residence turned into a hostel. We planned to stay 1 night, wound up staying 3! Would highly recommend to everybody!!

Disliked: If you are looking to be in the middle of a crazy party area, this isn't it, which we preferred because everything is accessible via 10 min bus ($1.20USD one way) or taxi ride ($10USD).

Liked: Big and spacious. Good kitchen and free breakfast. Nice location beside the sea.

Disliked: A bus ride to the metro. Before I left I forgot to get back my 10,000 Won deposit that the owner asked me for the lockers for.

Liked: Host is very helpful and entertaining. Always willing to help you find, travel, communicate in Pusan. Very comfortable to talk to. The property is very clean and safe. The people there are always interesting and nice. Definitely a must for any traveler visiting Pusan.

Disliked: The location is out of the way of public transportation. Because it was cheap, using taxi service (readily available outside the property) really helped us reach the nearest subway station, from which we traveled to wherever we wanted. Reaching the bus is confusing, so location wise, you will have to rely on a taxi to get to a subway. Other than that, the view of the ocean is truly a relaxing experience.

Liked: Tiger, who runs this place, was a lot of fun to hang out with. He is really helpful with the city and the language. He taught me to write my name in Korean, which really helped me throughout my stay in Korea. Thanks, Tiger!

Disliked: It was a bit hard to get into at first, as I didn't know the code to enter the property or anything.

Liked: This Hostel was amazing! Beatiful view over the ocean, the staff are so friendly and kind and i can honestly say the the whole place feels like a relaxed/fun 5 * Hotel. The owners made us dinner and were really fun to hang out with!

Liked: To ensure clarity what I'm talking about here is the "new" Pusan Hostel. A couple days before we arrived I received a note telling me that the Pusan Hostel had moved to a new location and from what the owner (Tiger) tells me we were one of the first few guests at this new location. The hostel is located in a collection of new condo high rises and it's really just a large condo being used as a guesthouse. It's in a great location for a view right near the water and is close to a convenient bus that we used to get to the university area/subway in 15 minutes. The condo itself was very modern, clean and full of places to sit. Tiger had bought a great couch that day and there were TV screens and computers for use in the common area. The kitchen was very clean and modern and the bathrooms were extremely nice. In terms of the people staying there everyone was very friendly and Tiger managed it well. I sat around and had a beer with him and another guest and he made sure we watched our noise levels, while still being really social and having a good time. Since we were one of the first guests at the new place it wasn't quite polished, i.e. bare walls in the bedroom, things were a little disorganized, but it wasn't half as bad as many of the place we've stayed.

Disliked: Nothing really. It was a little strange with the change of location and not knowing that we were staying in a condo so we were a little paranoid at first. Very specific to us there wasn't a lot of nearby restaurants so when we arrived late and were very tired we were limited to eating at a chicken bbq place, which was awesome and we were glad to have eaten there, but it would have been nice to have more choice.

Liked: It's in a great location- really close to the subway. The people who run it are really helpful and give great tips and pointers. Breakfast included eggs!!
