Liked: Nice pool, very nice and clean rooms. Beautiful building.

Disliked: It's a little bit out of the centre of Stellenbosch. (but, there is a green zone with guards, to walk safe home).

Liked: The staff was very helpful, we enjoyed our stay in Stellenbosch. The place is very safe.

Disliked: The beds are a bit worn out, but the hostel was good for a one night stay.

Liked: Convenient location with secure parking but a bit far for walking to true city center for restaurants, shops, internet access, etc. however large grocery (Super Spar) was only about 10min walk.

Disliked: No wifi and internet access using their one computer was exboritant. No screens on windows or fan in room so ventilation was an issue. Despite not having many guests, staff was not very attentive to basic needs like making sure kitchen had supplies (ie, no sugar for the free coffee, no salt & pepper, no sponge or cloth to wash dishes). Did not appear that common areas were cleaned daily - dust/crumbs on tables & chairs.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms. Safe parking. And when its really cold, they offer fur hot water bottles to keep you warm.

Liked: The guys were really trying to help as we had to leave very early in the morning and nothing was a problem. The hostel is not located centrally but you can definitly go by walking downtown through stellenbosch university. The room was comfortable and large enough and there is a nice swimming pool in the garden. It is a quiet place though not sure if it is suitable to have fun and meet people but still very good if you are not staying a long time in Stellenbosch.

Liked: It felt like we stayed at a B&B, it was so clean and new! We loved the ensuite bathroom and our room was spacious too. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip.
