North South Backpackers, your home away from home, is situated in Hatfield, the vibey student area of Pretoria. Within a 5 minute walk we have bars, restaurants, cinemas, shops, banks, cafes, doctors, pharmacies, a post office and take aways. There's lots to do, so come on in and enjoy our hospitality.

We are situated in the heart of happening Hatfield, best location and a 5 minute walk from shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema, clubs and most embassýs. Shopping malls and the post office are around the corner and we are next to bus routes and taxis.

We have had many happy faces over the years and have stood the pace of time well learning from and giving to our happy clients.

We are placed inside the Uni campus area only 300 meters from the university sports grounds and 700 meters from the main campus area.

The place is best suited for the international intrepid traveler and has a great friendly character.

Facilities comprise of a swimming pool , lush shady garden with plenty of seating areas, pool table, indoor bar, braai (barbeque) facilities, TV, book exchange, fully equipped clean kitchen, secure of street parking, and on site Travel center.

We have been is the Hatfield area for 10 years and are very popular.

Accommodation Information

Rooms consist of private twins, doubles and dorms all with full bedding. We have camping facilities as well. The rooms are standard with full bedding and bed side lamp with safe box. All are in a state of high cleanliness. Towels can be arranged.

Location Information

Our Location is the best in Pretoria. We are situated in the university area next to most embassies and on bus routes. Pubs, clubs, restaurants and movies, shops and malls are all 5 mins walk away.You will not find a beter placing / location for your money. We are close to the N4 / Pretoria off ramp. Take first lights after McDonalds left....over bridge and then first left into Park street. fisrt left again into glynn and we are on the next left corner number 355......You just can't beat this location.
