Liked: The property is excellently maintained and very beautiful. It's in a residential neighborhood, so for me it was great to be in a house, not a sterile hotel or hostel setting. There's a very nice garden, pool, and even a jacuzzi. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast service was really lovely. The Plettenberg Bay area is really relaxed and this adds to it. Not to mention the host, Chris, is a really friendly person looking to share his knowledge of SA!
Disliked: The location was a bit inconvenient if you wanted to walk. My friend and I didn't hire a car in South Africa and I realize that we simply went against the trend. Cabs were still easy to get and very close. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, car or no car.

Liked: Chris was a great host.
Disliked: The dog was big and unexpected. He wasn't scary but he barked a lot at other dogs. And my son is allergic to dogs.
