The panoramic view from the Heads takes your breath away and is synonymous to Knysna as are oysters and the Knysna Seahorse. The town’s central location on the Garden Route makes it an ideal base to thoroughly explore the many renowned attractions in the area. Knysna itself has so much to offer that staying a day or two extra in this peaceful town is a welcome to many.

Island Vibe Knysna is in the thick of things, ideally located in the centre of town – shops, bars, restaurants and the vibrant night clubs are all within easy walking distance. The atmosphere at Island Vibe is tranquil and relaxed. From the moment you enter the front gate you will feel at home and once you spot the sunny wooden decks overlooking the Heads, you’ll know you found the right place. Comfy en suite doubles, small cosy dorms, a snug bar that serves refreshingly cold beers and a pool table to entice you shoot a few. Island Vibe Knysna offers our guests AA quality assured accommodation, that is both comfortable and affordable. In turn our star grading has ensured that we provide a high standard of service and staff friendliness.

Island Vibe consists of six en suite doubles comfortably furnished and with TVs and towels. Some of these rooms are versatile in that they have a double plus a bunk bed, giving the option of twin, double, triple or family room. Prices vary accordingly from R350 to R550 per room per night. Please check our rates table on our Home page for seasonal pricing.

If you are looking for privacy, yet on a budget a non-en suite double at R240 is available. This room and the dorms are located in the adjacent building along with our spacious communal area. Our dorms are top quality, sleeping only 4 to 6 persons, furnished with majestic sleeper wood bunks, duvets and pillows.

Our fully equipped self catering kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities is located in the main house and available to all guests.
