Island Vibe is in the heart of Knysna allowing our guests to walk with ease to the main attraction sites. Offering cosy and clean accommodation at backpacker prices it is the ideal spot from which to visit the Garden Route.

Island Vibe has small comfortable dorm rooms, with a maximum of 4 persons per room. Our double en suite rooms all have their own TVs plus tea and coffee! An awesome scrumptious breakfast can be enjoyed on our sunny deck overlooking the Knysna Heads and many a cold beer consumed nest to the sparkling pool. Our pub is intimate and known for a place to share your travel stories or to get closer to the fire on a cold winter evening.

Adventures are superb in this little town and range from rap jumping and abseiling to canoeing, quad or mountain biking and shooting! Visit elephants in the park, take a cruise on the lagoon, walk in the forests or shake your liver on the brewery tour. If you have had enough of all that, stroll through the markets, take a coffee in one of the numerous quaint coffee shops or stay at home and enjoy the mellow vibe.

Night life is vibrant and there are a few good places in town to boogie your day away. Taxis available for late night home comers.
