Liked: The next morning when we could leave!

Disliked: The hostel is in older run down house. When we checked in they didn't have our reservation and argued with us if we had made one even though we clearly had already given them our confirmation. Staff was very rude and noisy. Staff invited friends to hangout in the parking lot of the hostel and spent the entire night talking very loudly and playing music from their cars outside guests windows. It's one thing for guests to not respect the noise but the hostel staff!? No breakfast. Wifi is EXPENSIVE and paid per MB Horrible value for your money your definitely better off spending $2 more and stay at a nicer place. This place has even changed their name to Acoustix hostel probably to escape such negative reviews.

Disliked: although breakfast included this is not really inside => availability time changes heavily, breakfast assorment not really good

Liked: Sleek hostel is clean.

Disliked: The staff member who drove us to the airport was a horrendous driver. I had to ask him to slow down as I was terrified. When I got out of the car I was physically shaking. Breakfast was average (just bread to toast yourself and tea/coffee) but in saying that the room rate was cheap.

Liked: Sleek hostel staff are absolutely lovely. They are happy to organize anything like tours, Baz Bus.Nice and safe place to stay in a Northern suburb in Johannesburg. Highly recommended.

Liked: Great place to meet people, staff really friendly. Had a fab stay here and staff even decorated our dorm for a friends birthday! Highly recommended.

Liked: I enjoyed my stay. The staff treat treated me well, they picked us up fromthe airport stopped on the way so I could get something from the shops onthe way to the hostel. Its like a home away from home. Dorm room was great.Clean bathrooms The hostel operator is probably one of the most honest andcaring people, I overpaid by without realizing it, they came back when theynoticed this and gave me back the money. They also let me have an extrablanket for a cold night when I asked, ordered food from Mr Delivery theyhave about 20 restuarants to choose from, held my room because my flightarrived late. Definitely would stay here again!

Liked: I really liked this place for the people working there. They are so nice and helpful. Also, the people living there are great. The place itself could use a little upgrade, but it's good considering the price. Also there is a good grocery store and restaurants at a walking distance. it is not far from the city the mini bus takes only a few minutes to the city center. I would stay there again, for sure!
