There is also a BBQ area and well as space to pitch a tent in the garden - we even have fire places in the lounge and in some of the Dorms.

One of Diamond Diggers biggest assets is its location which is really in the hub of many attractions! Firstly, we're situated in the leafy and secure residential suburb of Kensington. Take a walk to the supermarket over the road and experience the change in character of the different suburbs as one venture into the adjoining suburb of Fairview. At the end of our driveway is a renowned Portuguese Restaurant and just along the road there's a building - Collectors Treasury, which is home to the biggest collection of books in the Southern Hemisphere.
Diamond Diggers is on the main road between the Airports (OR Tambo International), Bus and Train station (Park station) and is also on the main mini-bus taxi and bus route - what more could you want!
The city of Johannesburg with art galleries, libraries, zoo and South African Museum of military history will give the traveller much to do when staying at our hostel.
All the tour operators and the bazbus pick-up and drop-off guests at Diamond Diggers - so really, this is the place to be!
