Liked: It was extremely clean and comfortable. We were lucky enough to be the only ones there, and had the huge tv all to ourselves in the lounge. Full self cater kitchen, free tea & coffee, and toast in the morning. Lovely stay, thanks Patrick!

Liked: This is a decent place run by a friendly helpful guy. However it is a suburban bungalow with the bedrooms turned into dorms. Basic breakfast is included in the price which is good. There is one restaurant within walking distance. It is close to the airport for pickups and dropoffs.

Liked: It was very quiet when we visited which suited us. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was very clean. Patrick was exceptionally helpful in drawing us a map for the easiest way out of town. Highly Reccomended.

Liked: Patrick the host is very friendly, there is a great bar and pool area for chilling out and having a bit of fun. This hostel is small and friendly and above all very safe.The whole place is very well kept clean and nicely decorated. I particularly liked the homely feel for eg the lounge was a great place relax and watch a DVD or Cable tele which are supplied for free. Patric organised transport to and from the airport at a reasonable price for me taking a lot of fuss and worry out of organising my own transport.

Liked: Had a great stay for 2 nights. Patrick was really helpful and friendly. Got a very cheap airport pickup which was great and the hostel was clean and tidy with good sized lockers in the rooms.The pool and bar were excellent and theres a supermarket and pizza restaurant a short distance away.Got to meet the owners friends and had a braai (bbq) with them which was really nice.The location is nice and is in a safe area. This does mean that the hostel is not very central but this is true for most of the hostels in J'burg and that means they are in a safe area.Overall its clean, safe, cheap, friendly, has good facilities, can arrange tours and was a great place to stay. I think i'll be back next year for the world cup. Cheers Patrick!Peresh

Liked: Patrick was very welcoming (and patient as my plane was late) and gave me access to tv and internet. He really helped me to decide what to do during my stay, all of which I really enjoyed. I don't think I could have had a better time anywhere else. Patrick really has the right spirit and attitude for his job.

Liked: Owner operator was very friendly and willing to help, he stays on the premises. The location is perfect if you are looking to launch yourself to Kruger. The operator (Patrick) also has good contacts for Kruger Tours.
