Liked: Staff were very friendly & helpful. A very relaxing location to stay in before a tour. Good sized private rooms and comfortable beds. Free airport pick-up. Free 30 mins per day internet. Evening meal was good value. Nomad Guides / Drivers stay so no transfer costs if going on tours with Nomad.

Disliked: Unfortunately, lodge is very isolated unless you hire a car, nothing in walking distance. Return transfer to Airport 220rand.

Liked: Very helpfull staff, homely atmosphere.

Disliked: Outside the walls there's nothing worthwile in the neighbourhood.

Liked: Very friendly staff. pretty outdoor area, large bathroom

Disliked: the bed was sooooo uncomfortable, and it was noisy i heard people comming and going all night, and dogs barking every time someone went in and out

Liked: The current staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is a way out of the city but they will help you with transport and car hire etc. There are plenty of tours available and there is stuff to do here too. It really is a family and family-friendly place and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Lodge to travellers.

Disliked: The only slight problem is the distance from the city but with local car hire available, that more than makes up for it.

Liked: There`s a good bar with big screen to see the worldcup 2010 games.Everyday it is build a fire outside, where it is possible to get warm.The owner is very kind and attentious...

Liked: The property is a bit run down and not really near anything. The staff were helpful and pleasent though. It was fine for one night stay as we were just flying through.

Liked: Informal and friendly atmosphere. Staff exceedingly helpful. Hostel set in rural-type suburb a fair way from city, but airport pick up free and staff provided transport to shops etc. Their Kruger Park tour was fantastic; they have an unbelievably beautiful rustic camp site just outside the park.
