Liked: Really enjoyed this place. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and was so nice! Staff was friendly, and we also booked horse back riding on the beach, which was a great experience! Furthermore, great atmosphere and nice people.

Liked: Right on the beach overlooking an amazing surfspot. The party vibe in the bar is second to none.

Liked: The location is great, very close to the beach - excellent; the stuff is very friendly and helpful

Disliked: It's a shame that they don't make more out of that property, Interior and area looks a bit used/ old. A bit of renovation would help a lot.

Liked: Most awesome backpackers I stayed in during my time in South Africa. It's right on an awesome surf beach. Really fun bar every night. Food on offer each night is really good. Definitely make as much time to stay here - J Bay and this hostel are worth as much time as you can spare!!!

Liked: have breakfast and dinner. Really the hostel is more for surfers than anything. I'd recommend it to surfers. For me it was okay, not the best I stayed at.
