Laetitia was incredibly helpful. Even though we arrived quite late (unexpected delays along the way), she was happy to let us in, show us around, give us directions to our next destination, and enable us to leave very early the next morning. As someone quite familiar with the attractions in the area, she was quite happy to give us advice about what to see (while our schedule was unfortunately already planned out, we did take her card to contact her for suggestions for future trips--most of us are staying in South Africa for at least a few more months). The common areas are overrun with adorable kittens that like to climb up to your shoulders (a potential problem for someone with allergies, but all the animals were well taken care of and common room quality did not suffer at all). In short, while we only stayed for a few brief hours, we were generally quite pleased with Hoedspruit BackpackHers.
