Yellow Piano Inn is located on a small hill, offering unparalled views of landscape & sky in all directions. Enjoy fiery red sunsets, star gazing, wildlife or wandering through nature.

Our restaurant and countryvenue is fully licensed and opens on request.

A spacious hall, which can open wide to the garden, houses the bright Yellow 1938 Wurlitzer Butterfly Grand Piano, done in Great Art Deco Streamline Style, and which is our wellknown trademark. In the hall you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dine fine, you can laze some time in the conservatory or you can frequent the bar and contemplate about the huge bottle window depicting a peacocktail.

Accommodation Information

We are still creating and constructing, but we do already offer the following:

If it is cold, you can warm up yourself at the fireplace and sip a bonewarming Glühwein. If it is hot, you can take a refreshing dip in the pool.

Our three cottages are furnished in different styles, all have tea&coffee facilities, two have a TV and a toilet/basin ensuite. The big bathhouse with hot showers is just a few steps across the lawn.

The Afrique cottage is sheltered by large plants, which make a cozy patio garden. It is furnished in „afro-kitsch“ style and has 2 connected rooms, one with a double beds, the other with a single bed. Toilet and basin are ensuite. The cottage has a TV and provides tea&coffee facilities.

The Out-in-Africa cottage is furnished somewhat colonial, most impressing is the bottle window showing a springbok and the large stunning view into nature. However, if nature is not enough, there is a TV. Tea&coffee facilities are provided. This very romantic cottage has a double bed and a divan in a spacious room and toilet, basin and cold shower ensuite. It is only a few paces away from the big bathhouse with hot showers.

The Monastery cottage is furnished with four single beds and has tea&coffee facilities. The gothic style bottlewindows remind of a cloister.

Visit us in the beautiful nature of Manley Flats, on the bohemian side of Grahamstown, just 20km from city centre and relax in an atmosphere of love, art and magic.

Accommodation is in cottages on our small farm, which invites for relaxing walks in the nature. Watch springbok and zebra grazing or discover leguan, tortoise and other wildlife.
At night you can gaze at the bright stars and you can listen to the sounds of the crickets and other nocturnal creatures.
