Log cabin style rooms on the farm next to the river. Twin, double and small dorms all en suite. Walking distance to town, wine estates ,restuarants, hiking and adventure.

Situated on a farm next to the river are the five log cabin style rooms and an adjacent communal living area. . The rooms lead onto a wooden deck overlooking the river and mountains. There is a large lawn area where limited camping facilities are allowed for small tents.

The communal lounge, dining, kitchen area has a fully equipped kitchen with a large open fireplace, as well as a wood burning oven. Braai facilities are next to the plunge pool. Breakfast is supplied at an additional cost.

The village with world famous restaurants, pubs, boutique shops, and museums is within walking distance. Wine farms surround us, (no need for a car), plenty are within 10minutes walking distance. Most visitors walk for dinner. Tours are available throughout the day with many tasty meals served while you taste the wine.

Accommodation Information

Consisting of twin, double, one 6 bedded dorm and 4 bedded family room. All rooms are en suite with your own toilet, shower and basin. The dorm and family room are in the 'farm' building away from the river. The family room has a full bathroom with it’s own kitchenette. All rooms have heaters, and full linen and towels are supplied
Laundry facilities, internet, ..yes.......but no TV. It spoils the sound of the river and the many other unique night sounds - ike good conversation, owls and frogs.

Location Information

Surrounded by the Hottentot Holland mountain range there are endless hikes, from a few hours to several days, coupled with endless mountain biking tracks. Wine tasting on horse back, or wilderness trails are next door. Hang gliding, absailing, canoeing, whale watching, shark diving, fly-fishing and sailing can be arranged within a couple of hours' drive. If that’s too energetic, lie on the lawn or wander around the Huguenot museum, taste chocolates at the factory, shop till you drop and listen to jazz (in summer)close by.
