Liked: I stayed here one night, coming up from the coast to Durban to catch my flight home. Tekweni is a good place if you just want to get drunk and party with other travellers and locals, crashing out late. Useful location for the bars and restaurants on Florida Rd.

Disliked: I felt pretty uncomfortable here - we arrived late off a long bus ride and the staff were stoned, confused and unhelpful, and the same the following morning. It's basically a loud and heavy bar with some crash space in dorms around it. Music goes on loud until early morning which will stop you sleeping - I also had music from the bar opposite. Bathrooms were a walk away from my room, and the room lacked some basics eg a mirror.

Liked: Florida Road was dead and far from the city center. To get to the beach you had to change buses twice. They had no towels. We came late and stores were closed so if you come here make sure you bring your own. You could not get one from the hostel even if you left a deposit. Bathroom was not so fresh and clean. Staff unfriendly, charged 5% when paying by card.

Liked: The room I had was quiet and comfortable, but I asked to be moved from the original dismal single they had given me. Not too crowded at this time of year. Staff friendly and helpful.Question 6 should have an I don't know box. I don't know!
