Irie lodge

Warner Beach is a small resort on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast set in between Kingsburgh and Amanzimtoti.

The beaches here are all shark-protected and patrolled by lifeguards during all school holidays. Warner Beach has a tidal pool and the visitor will find excellent surfing conditions, surf angling and lagoon bathing and boating.

In total there are seven kilometres of beach front where the visitors can enjoy some excellent sea swimming. In the lagoon you can hire rowing boats and canoes, and there is some excellent bird watching to be found at the bird sanctuary.

We also boast with an excellent diving spot ‘Aliwal Shoal’. Tala Game reserve is 45 km away from our establishment. We have the Ushaka Marine World in Durban, The Suncoast Casino and Sibaya Casino. We boast with 21 great restaurants and pubs in our area.

Cancellations are only accepted 1 month before arrival. Alternatively we reserve the right to charge clients for accommodation, i.e. a no show policy will apply.

Accommodation Information

We have four double rooms. We have six dorms, some with four beds, some with two beds, some with six beds.

We have five self-catering kitchens, eight bathrooms, cosy braai areas, travel & tour information desk, lounge, 60m (metre) sundeck overlooking the sea and secure parking.

Close to all amenities, including 22 pubs and restaurants in close proximity.

The subtropical weather, warm Indian Ocean, masses of banana palms and miles of idyllic sandy beaches make it difficult to take life too seriously. It has easy access to scuba diving on Aliwal Shoal-one of the world's top ten dive sites!

Warner Beach is just south of Durban Internasional airport and the Buzz of Durban. We can arrange deep sea-fishing, horse riding and lots more fun filled activities.
