Liked: Good location, very helpful staff, very clean and tidy
Disliked: Kitchen not that big and no oven - but we ate out down Florida Road so not a problem for us!

Liked: We were very impressed by Gibela Backpackers. It rates at least 10 out of 5 for cleanliness and helpfulness. Elmar was a fount of knowledge on all things SA. We liked the whole ethos of the place, from the recycling bins to the shop stocked with beautiful goods made made by local women. The shady gardens were good to relax in as were the comfortable sitting areas. The whole place was immaculately kept. We would definitely recommend Gibela to anyone visiting Durban.
