Overview
The friendliest small hostel, with great staff who enthuse about Cape Town and South Africa. Jacuzzi parties, mountain hikes, sundowners, township tours with our own staff member and all the welcome you would expect in South Africa. Proudly South African.
The Green Elephant - friendly, personal and experienced in travel - is in the lively student area of Observatory.
We consistently have the friendliest managers around, and our South African permanent staff mix with experienced travelers to give authentic travel memories of Cape Town.
The facilities include the Jacuzzi for party fun, a cooler swimming pool, but most importantly a great friendly home to travelers since 1994.
4 double rooms have 4 poster beds and 3 rooms are en-suite. The dorms are SPACIOUS and social areas HUGE.
We would love to have you here.
From here you easily go to student pubs and restaurants, public transport, shops, movies, sports grounds and theatres. It is the liveliest student area in Cape Town.
We are here to enjoy ourselves too, so join us when we go diving, beaching, sea kayaking, hiking or just out partying!
We are friendly and efficient, so will reply quickly to queries. We use all our travel experience to help you get the most out of your SA holiday. Our tour booking website gives large discounts to prebooked tours with secure payments for peace of mind.
We also prepare home cooked meals in our pizza oven, on our braai or the traditional Potjie and skottel!
